Wilmington Concert Opera joins Wilmington Classical Guitar!

Pianist Tim Crawford returns to Wilmington Concert Opera after having been involved as pianist and music director for numerous productions. Tim was last seen at Wilmington Concert Opera for "Hänsel und Gretel" and our Rodgers & Hammerstein Gala.

Please join him, Marisa Robinson, and Matt Vice as they represent Wilmington Concert Opera as guest artists for Wilmington Classical Guitar on Saturday, March 14th at 7:00 PM at Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 503 Duncan Road, Wilmington, DE.

Artist fact: Alyssa is a huge animal lover. If you’re with Alyssa and there’s an animal nearby, you’ll know right away because she’ll make a beeline for them!

Join us for our next recital of our 2026 "Strong Women" 10th year anniversary season!

We welcome back soprano Alyssa Brode for "thirtysomething," a recital featuring all works written by composers in their thirties. Alyssa is joined on piano by Kat Bowman, who makes her Wilmington Concert Opera debut with this performance!

This free event is family-friendly and open to the public. Our recital series began as a response to the pandemic with virtual options, funded by Dr. William Lee Schlotterer and Mrs. Dawn Schlotterer. We are delighted to now offer both live and online options and continue to showcase wonderful performers in a recital setting.

Please join us at 6 PM on March 7th in the Sanctuary of Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, 503 Duncan Road, Wilmington, DE 19809.

The suggested donation is $20 per person at the door for those who are able to contribute. All are welcome, regardless of ability to donate.

Do More 24 Delaware, is our state-wide day of giving. This event does more than raise valuable funding for our Summer Arts Camp. Participating in this campaign raises awareness and introduces our camp to new supporters.

Being able to keep the building open as Covenant Community Services Delaware means we will be holding our popular SUMMER ARTS CAMP this summer!

Donations made during the fundraiser will be partially matched through the Delaware Division of the Arts stretch pool and also puts us in the running for the hourly prizes given out during the fundraiser.

While the congregation has closed its doors, 503 Duncan Road is still a bustling building filled with children’s giggles and teachers’ encouragement, voices singing, Scouts pledging and working, guitar strings strumming, the collective breath of bodies exercising, and community gatherings on Sunday mornings.

Through the vision of PCOC and New Castle Presbytery, we have gifted our neighbors a space where diversity is honored and celebrated. Transitioning from PCOC to CCS demonstrates a commitment to growth and renewal—and the spirit of covenant remains at the heart of it all.
