THIS WEEK WE LIFT UP…THE BISHOP'S VISIT
Begun in 1785, the Episcopal Church in Delaware is one of the nine original dioceses of the Episcopal Church in the United States. Led by the Rt. Rev. Kevin S. Brown, elected the 11th Bishop of Delaware in 2017, the church reflects its mission “to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ." We welcome Bishop Brown to Christ Church this Sunday, June 7, for his annual visitation. He will lead us in worship at 9 and 10:30 AM and confirm, receive, and reaffirm new members in The Episcopal Church.
