Our students had a fun evening hosted by the Jeannets. We roasted hot dogs & made s’mores, enjoyed the beautiful fall weather, did a scavenger hunt through the trails, and had a good time hanging out together.

Special thanks to the Jeannets for hosting & our students that came out

Into the Deep End
Reading Scripture

At Small Groups this weekend we discussed the importance of spending time in God’s Word & why that is valuable to us.

To help us put that into practice, we gave a challenge to read Psalm 119 this week. It is all about God’s Word.

Unfortunately there was an error on the plan we handed out 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️

Here is the corrected reading plan. This is an All Play. Everyone is invited to read Psalm 119 this week and check out what the Psalm writer says about hearing and following God’s Word.

Would love for you to join in!

5 @ 5:05 Challenge
( pray for 5 minutes @ 5:05 )
📱 📱 📱 📱
In Small Groups this weekend we talked about the habit of prayer. To help us practice that habit, we encouraged everyone to set an alarm for 5:05 and pray for 5 minutes

We discussed the Model Prayer Jesus gave His followers, and we broke it down into four actions:

1) Look Up (Worship) - look up to God as our Father

2) Give Up (Surrender) - give up control & let God be our King

3) Lean On (Dependence) - lean on God to give us what we need

4) Admit It (Forgiveness) - admit it when we mess up

So, if you haven’t started yet, set a reminder at 5:05 and pray for five minutes using the actions from Jesus’ prayer model

Then, share with your small group or someone else how it’s going
