The Orthodox Church was founded by our Lord Jesus Christ and is the living manifestation of His presence in the history of the mankind. It is Orthodox, but not Jewish. It is Catholic, but not Roman. It isn’t non-denominational – it is pre-denominational. It has believed, taught, preserved, defended and died for the Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost over 2000 years ago. As we say goodbye to 2025, we look forward to things ahead in the year to come. Our optimism for 2026 is based on our firm conviction that the Lord is determining our path forward in these next 12 months. May God continue to bless our Saint Nicholas Family and keep us safe and healthy in the new year!

Our beloved Virgin Mary is the mankind's highest offering to God for our salvation. She represents mankind in its purity, innocence, obedience and sanctity. She becomes the Mother of all, for through her and the Holy Spirit, Christ is born in us and we become heirs of the Kingdom of God. We wish you and yours a Blessed Christmas and New Year!

On behalf of the Clergy, Parish Council, Philoptochos and faithful stewards of Saint Nicholas, We wish you and your families a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!!!

A Prayer of Thanksgiving

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, the Source of every good and perfect gift. May your blessing come upon us this Thanksgiving Day. We thank you and remember the love and mercy you have bestowed upon and with grateful hearts. Please accept our prayerful expressions of praise and thanksgiving. We thank You for all the gifts, opportunities and privileges You have have bestowed on us, known and unknown.

We also remember today, O Lord, all our friends and family around our tables, and especially those who have passed and entered your heavenly rest. May their memories be eternal!

Finally we remember today our Saint Nicholas Family. We fervently ask that you continue to guide us in following your will and keep us on your path toward Salvation. Through the prayers of our Holy Fathers and Mothers, Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us and save us.
