Good morning and Happy Tuesday!

In our Coaching practice, we normally see most leaders have difficulty prioritizing their work. I often use the analogy that when we were kids, we would always eat the ice cream before we ate our spinach unless our parents knew to never put them both on the table at the same time. So it goes with our daily "appetite" for picking and choosing the things we like most and doing them first. However, we know that eating the spinach is good for us and the right priority! The below is called the "Eisenhower Matrix". We often find ourselves focusing on "getting things done" without focusing on proper rest, exercise, diet, relationship investing, pouring into others, and “sharpening our own saw”. Before we complain about how things should be or could be, let's give thanks for what we have.

Critical tasks are urgent and high in value. High-priority tasks aren't urgent, yet they bring high value. Medium-priority tasks are urgent but low in value. Lastly, low-priority tasks are non-urgent and low-value.

“Martha Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
Luke 10:41-42 (NIV)

This Christmas, consider doing less, not more. By simplifying your life, you’ll have more enjoyment, more fulfillment, and less stress.
At one of the busiest times of the year, we need to make sure we’re filling our calendars, our minds, and our hearts with what’s important—not trivial things that won’t even matter in five years, much less for eternity.
The trivial things I’m talking about are not evil things. You can fill your life with good things that keep you from spending time with God. You can be involved in ministry all the time and be so busy working for God that you don’t leave God any time to work in you.
An example of this can be seen in Mary and Martha, who were sisters and also friends of Jesus. One day they invited him to their home for a meal. Mary sat at the feet of Jesus, listening to his teaching. Martha was busy worrying about the food and making sure everything was in place.
Doesn’t that sound like Christmas? You spend months buying and wrapping gifts, decorating the house, putting up the lights, fixing the tree, sending out cards, preparing meals, and planning parties. Then, when Christmas arrives, you realize you were so busy with the preparation that you didn’t make any time for Jesus.
“Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to him and asked, ‘Lord, don’t you care that my sister has left me to do the work by myself? Tell her to help me!’ ‘Martha, Martha,’ the Lord answered, ‘you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her’” (Luke 10:40-42 NIV).
Mary knew there was one thing worth her time: getting to know the Son of God.
Nothing else will matter in eternity. God didn’t put you on earth just to work and then retire. He wants you to get to know him.
My wish for you this Christmas is that you would stop, take a breath, and shift your focus to the one thing (worship, praise and thanksgiving for the Christ - Child). Message me if you would like prayer.

Please consider joining me in a 21 day Fast beginning September 5th through Sunday, September 25th. Remember, the key difference between a Fast and a Diet is a diet focuses on the Body and a Fast focuses on the Spirit.

I do a Daniel Fast - No meat, no alcohol, no bread and no sweets.

The good news is a Fast is 100% voluntary. It’s not about legalism. It’s about making sacrifices (giving up some things we really like) in order to show Christ how serious we are about chasing Him! And in return, He will open doors and windows within your lift that you may bare more fruit and make a more significant impact on the Kingdom.

Please join me and hundreds and hundreds of believers beginning January 2nd through January 22nd for this special time of Prayer and Fasting. We will primarily focus on pushing back the Coronavirus and asking God for wisdom and discernment regarding our nation’s

When we pray during a stressful time, let’s remind ourselves of who God is. Focus on His strength, character, and power. God can handle anything, including whatever we are facing right now.

In Matthew 19:26, Jesus says, “With God everything is possible” (NLT).

King Jehoshaphat knew this is true. He reminded himself of it as he prayed, “Are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you” (2 Chronicles 20:6 NIV).

After we remember who God is, we must remind ourselves of what He has done. Remember when God has helped and delivered other people and when he has helped you in the past. Recalling those things will give you confidence that God will handle whatever you are facing today and tomorrow.

When we encourage others, we are truly encouraged. Feel free to message me if you have a prayer need. Much love, Bo

God makes a huge dome for the sun - a super-dome. The morning sun's a new husband leaping from his honeymoon bed, the day-breaking sun an athlete racing to the tape.

That's how God's Word vaults across the skies from sunrise to sunset, melting ice, scorching deserts, warming hearts to faith. Nothing is hidden from its heat. Psalms 19 5,6

I pray this day that our warmth and love for those we come in contact today will encourage and enlighten the paths of many.

The most amazing Gift this Christmas- God’s only Son. Please share this prayer of salvation with fellow Christians and definitely with all those who need Christ.

“Dear Jesus, you have promised that if I believe in you, everything I’ve ever done wrong will be forgiven, I will learn the purpose of my life, and you will accept me into your eternal home in heaven one day.

“I confess my sin, and I believe that you are my Savior. You have promised that if I confess my sin and trust you, I will be saved. I trust you when you say that salvation comes by grace, through faith, and not by anything I do. I receive you into my life as my Lord. Today I’m turning over every part of my life to your management. You have the right to call all the shots in my life.

“Jesus, I want to use the rest of my life to serve you instead of serving myself. I commit my life to you and ask you to save me and accept me into your family. In your name I pray. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer for the very first time - Congratulations! Message me and let’s pray together.

Merry Christmas, Bo

Pray this prayer every morning - Listen and watch how God will bless you!

I Chronicles 4:9-10The Message (MSG)

Jabez was a righteous man, more so than his brothers, a man of honor. His mother had named him Jabez (Oh, the pain!), saying, “A painful birth! I bore him in great pain!” Jabez prayed to the God of Israel: “Bless me, O bless me indeed! Give me financial resources and opportunities to bless others, enlarge my territory and provide me with excellent health that I may serve you, serve others and bring You glory, honor and praise. Dear Lord provide your personal protection on me and my family —don’t let evil hurt me.” I pray this prayer and claim it all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. Amen

We must trust God from the bottom of our hearts and not try to figure out everything out on our own. Listen for God’s voice in everything we do, everywhere we go; He’s the one who will keep us on track. Don’t assume that we know it all” We must put Him first place and trust in Him! (Proverbs 3:5-7 The Message)

A special prayer for those who have been and will be impacted by Hurricane, Dorian

God of the Universe, at the dawn of creation, your Spirit breathed on the waters, making them the wellspring of all holiness. You created the oceans and rivers, and all that dwell within them, and at your word, the wind and the waves were born.

The seasons follow your plan, and the tides rise and fall on your command. In both calm and storm, you are with us.

On the Sea of Galilee, even when the disciples began to fear, your son, Jesus showed that He was Lord over the waters by rebuking the storms, so that all would know that even the wind and the waves obey Him!

Have mercy on us and bring great comfort to those who are hurting and protect those who are vulnerable.
In Jesus name, Amen
