Please join us at the 10:30am Mass on Sunday, June 7th as we celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi.

Following the Mass, we will process along our St. Mary Magdalen property to act as a witness to the Eucharistic faith and the gratitude that God is with us and our community.

The Eucharist is both a gift and a calling. As we receive the Body of Christ, we are called to become the Body of Christ in the world. The love we encounter at the altar must shape the way we live, inspiring us to serve the poor, forgive those who have hurt us, and offer ourselves generously for others. The Eucharist strengthens us to live as disciples whose lives reflect the self-giving love of Jesus.

In most regions of the United States, including the Diocese of Wilmington, the celebration of Ascension Thursday takes place on the Seventh Sunday of Easter. Therefore, Mass this Thursday is a regular daily Mass and does not count as an obligation for Ascension Thursday.

The Feast of the Ascension will be celebrated this coming weekend during Sunday Masses and the Saturday vigil Mass.

We will host our annual Mother's Day Rose Sale this weekend! Please consider purchasing a beautiful rose this weekend for Mom or someone special to you! Roses will be available after Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning Masses.

All proceeds will benefit Birthright of Delaware, which provides free confidential one-on-one support to pregnant women. Services include pregnancy testing, parenting education, counseling and prayer support.

Thank you to the Knights of Columbus who will be present to make the rose sale a success!
