Traditionally, the ashes used on Ash Wednesday are made from the palm branches of the previous year's Palm Sunday celebration.

How fickle we are - we proclaim Christ the King of Glory on one day and call for his ex*****on the next.

May this season of Lent be a time for spiritual renewal as we reflect upon the agony of the Cross, the empy tomb, and the eternal promise of Easter.

Pastors - do we take the time to stop, listen, and trust the leaders that we have trained? Do we need to learn how to sit down and shut up? I continue my podcast today with David Lutes, Master Trainer and Ordained Minister.

Pastors need to know when to sit down and just listen to the leaders they have trained.

Are we developing good leaders, or bad followers?

Today I start a three-part discussion with David Lutes - minister, church planter and master trainer in leadership development. Today we talk about how pastors through intentional discipleship can develop church members into needed leaders in the Christian community.

Should Christians keep quiet about their faith on social media and just keep their heads down? Or do we state truth wherever and whenever? Recently, a 19 year old policeman in Georgia found that this is a tough question.

I am looking for Pastors and other Christian thought leaders who would like to join a round-table discussion on this topic. Our discussion will be recorded and broadcast, and help followers of Christ develop a Christ-centered response to discipleship and social media.

Qualifications:

1. A conservative, evangelical Christian.
2. A Pastor, leader of a ministry, or Christian thought leader.
3. Able to commit to 60 - 120 minutes of recording. The final podcast will be about 45 minutes long.
4. Have a good internet connection as everything we do is remote.

If you interested and qualify, please contact me at [email protected]. I am looking to record this episode of the roundtable later this week or early next week.

Churches have skipped science. It shows in our Christian Worldview.

We kick off our 2023 season by talking to Dr. Fazale "Fuz" Rana (Fazale Rana) - President, CEO and senior scholar of Reasons To Believe - an organization dedicated to communicating the powerful case for God's existence and the Bible's reliability - to both Christians and non-Christians.

Churches have forgotten all about science, and it shows in our Christian worldview. We kick off our 2023 season by talking to Dr. Fazale Rana, president, CEO and senior scholar of Reasons to Believe.

Over and over again, I have seen on Facebook and other social media that we as Christians should be for this whole idea of the forgiving of student debt because Jesus forgave our debt on the cross.

The battle lines have been drawn over - but churches continue to give mixed messages to their members.

I continue my discussion with Cathie Humbarger of Reprotection. We talk about the various laws that will go into effect if Roe v Wade is overturned by the Supreme Court. We also talk about the lack of support churches have given women who have had an abortion, and the practical measures we can do to change that.

Can we stop the out-of-control rate in this country simply by insisting that abortion clinics follow the law?

I start a conversation with Cathie Humbarger from Reprotection. She talks about how her organization has successfully limited - or even shut down - abortion providers - simply by insisting that they follow the same rules as everyone else.

Podcast: Can we stop the out-of-control abortion in this country simply by insisting that abortion clinics follow the law?
