What if the very thing that's upsetting you is God's way of saying, "Attention Please"?

Yesterday, Rev. Dr. Donald Dunnigan challenged us to view life's frustrating moments differently. Instead of becoming upset by our circumstances, we can see them as opportunities for the Holy Spirit to teach us how to trust God more deeply.

If we truly believe God is in control and trust Him with the outcome, there's no need to panic, worry, or become overwhelmed.

Thankful for a beautiful day of worship, fellowship, and powerful reminders that God is always speaking—we just have to pay attention.

Today's Reflection

In a world filled with constant noise and activity, stillness can seem difficult to find. Yet God often speaks most clearly when we slow down enough to listen.

Stillness is not inactivity; it is attentiveness. When we become quiet before God, we create space to recognize His voice, His guidance, and His activity in our lives.

The Holy Spirit is always at work. Sometimes we simply need to slow down long enough to notice.

June Overview
Creating Space for God - Through Connection With the Holy Spirit

Monthly Focus
Throughout the month of June, we will journey together toward a deeper awareness of God's presence, activity, transformation, relationships, and purpose through the ministry of the Holy
Spirit.

As we become more aware of God's constant presence, we will learn to recognize His activity, experience His transforming work, strengthen our relationships, and respond to His leading.

Weekly Journey
Week Two - God is Active

"But when the Father sends the Advocate as My representative-that is, the Holy Spirit-He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you." - John 14:26

Remembering His Presence
Sunday, June 7, 2026

Today's Reflection
As we prepare for Communion, we are invited to pause and reflect on our relationship with God. Communion is not about perfection; it is about remembrance, gratitude, and renewed fellowship with Christ.

The Holy Spirit gently reveals areas where we need forgiveness, healing, or renewed surrender. He also reminds us of
God's grace and faithfulness. Preparing the table begins with preparing our hearts.

Removing Obstables
Friday, June 5, 2026

Today's Reflection

Sometimes the obstacle to spiritual growth is not God's absence but our distraction. Worries, habits, priorities, and even good things can occupy so much of our attention that we become less aware of God's presence. God desires to walk closely with us, but we must be willing to remove whatever hinders that relationship.

As we release unnecessary distractions, we create more space to recognize His voice, His guidance, and His activity in our lives.
Creating space often begins by letting go.
