We want to extend our sincere apologies for any confusion caused by the recent notices containing incorrect information. We are not meeting this month, as previously communicated. We value your time, your presence, and the work you do in our wider community—thank you for your grace and understanding.
We will resume in January as we return with our Interfaith Dialogue, and we hope you will join us as we continue building bridges of understanding, collaboration, and shared commitment to the common good across the Cape Fear region.

This season is filled with meaningful celebrations, reflection, and tradition across many faiths and cultures.
A few among them include:
• Hanukkah (Jewish) – December 15
The Festival of Lights, commemorating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem and the miracle of oil that burned for eight days.
• Yule (Pagan and Wiccan) – December 21
A winter solstice festival celebrating the rebirth of the sun and the enduring cycles of nature.
• Christmas (Christian) – December 25
Celebrating the birth of Jesus and the hope, peace, joy, and love his life inspires.

To those observing these holy days—and to those for whom this time of year holds quiet, rest, or simply ordinary days—we wish you the very best as you celebrate any, all, or none of them.
May this season bring peace, meaning, connection, and hope.

Happy Holidays,
Wilmington Faith Leaders United

We are so excited that at our annual Gratitude Service, Wilmington Faith Leaders United was humbled and overjoyed to raise $753 in support of Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity’s Unity Build! 🙌🏽🏡
This gift is more than a number—it’s a sign of what happens when people of many faiths, many traditions, and many stories come together for a shared purpose: building hope, dignity, and a future for local families.
We are profoundly grateful for every person who showed up, sang, prayed, gave, and leaned into the spirit of gratitude and generosity. This community continues to inspire us.
Thank you for believing in a world where neighbors lift one another up.
Thank you for helping us invest in affordable housing.
Thank you for being part of something bigger than any one congregation.
Together, we are building homes.
Together, we are building unity.
Together, we are building hope. ❤️🕊️

This year, we are grateful to support Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity — helping build dignity, stability, and homes for our neighbors. Together, we give thanks not only with our words, but through acts of love and service.
Through readings, prayers, and expressions of gratitude from diverse faith traditions, we will celebrate what unites us and nurture the spirit of peace and goodwill in our community.
All are welcome.
All are valued.
Bring your heart, your curiosity, and your gratitude.
We look forward to being together in love and solidarity.

We believe in showing up for our neighbors — especially in seasons of need.
This November, we are collecting Food Lion gift cards to distribute to households who rely on SNAP benefits.
✅ $100 each (only this increment)
✅ Food Lion only (so every family receives the same support)
✅ Goal: 80 cards
If your congregation or organization would like to contribute, please bring your $100 Food Lion card(s) to our meeting on Thursday.

Thank you for helping us love and serve our community with dignity and consistency.
Together, we feed hope!

Clergy Gone Wild(ish)

Last night, Wilmington Faith Leaders United swapped sermons for sharp objects at Axes and Allies—and turns out, we’ve got some serious aim (and a few… let’s call them creative throws).

We laughed. We bonded. We maybe scared the staff a little.
Missed it? Don’t make that mistake twice.
