During my time of prayer this morning, I read, "He that dwelleth in the Secret Place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91:1
I'm going to share with you a mixture of my personal notes and what the Lord said to me this morning. Many people mistakenly believe that dwelling in The Secret Place means they will never experience attacks from the enemy. The truth is, the closer you draw to God, the more determined the enemy becomes to pull you away from His Presence. His objective is not simply to attack you, but to get you to abandon the Secret Place.
The blessing of dwelling in the Secret Place is not the absence of trouble, but the Presence of God's grace in the middle of it.
When chaos invades your life, God pours out a grace that enables you to stand when others would fall. When you find yourself in the fiery furnace of affliction, He infuses the Kingdom believer with supernatural strength to keep walking. When the weight of life becomes overwhelming, He empowers you to endure what you could never endure in your own strength.
And when it feels as though you're drowning in the raging ocean of life's circumstances, our faithful God has a way of reaching into the storm and bringing His children safely through. He never abandons those who make His Presence their DWELLING PLACE.
The Secret Place is more than a location; it is the Ark of Safety. It is where your faith is strengthened, your peace is restored, and God's GRACE is continually supplied.
So today, I want to encourage every Kingdom believer: Stay in the Secret Place. Don't allow disappointment, weariness, fear, or the pressures of life to pull you away from the Presence of God. The place where the enemy fights you the hardest is often the very place where God protects you the most.
Keep dwelling. Keep abiding. Keep trusting. His grace is sufficient, His Presence is enough, and His Shadow is still your covering.
