Changing tomorrow starts today!

I want to provide resources that will encourage and minister to ALL mothers! Are you looking for a homeschool curriculum that will provide an education taught from a Christian worldview helping to shape how your child sees the world? Are you looking for a homeschool curriculum that teaches the 'why' and 'how' to use the information they are learning, which helps them develop strong critical thinki

ng skills? Finally, are you looking for a curriculum that will provide a variety of hands-on and multi-sensory activities to engage your learner? "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth."

Got a little one who keeps asking, “When do I get to do school?”

Footsteps for Fours gives your PreK4 learner their own special school time while keeping learning fun and age-appropriate! From phonics and handwriting to math, heritage studies, crafts, holiday lessons, and plenty of learning through play, there’s lots to keep those little minds busy.

And yes—video lessons are available, too!

If you’re looking for PreK4 materials or wondering what would work best for your little learner, I’d be happy to help you take a look.

Homeschool BINGO!

How many squares can you check off already?

School in pajamas? ✔️
“Please focus!” for the 47th time? ✔️
Second breakfast? Obviously. ✔️
Assigned only the evens or odds? That counts. ✔️

Every homeschool day looks a little different—and that’s part of the fun!

🧬 Life Science... take THREE! 🎬😄

This is my third year in a row teaching BJU Press Life Science—but this time it's with kiddo #3! ❤️

I still get just as excited for the hands-on labs as the kids do!

One of my favorite parts of this course is watching students bring science to life through creative labs and activities. Learning really sticks when they can see it, build it, and experience it.

Here's to another year of curiosity, discovery, and making science unforgettable! 🔬✨

Don't let the holidays sneak up on you! K4 & K5 include special holiday lessons, and some even have festive snacks to make. You might want to check the lesson plans before your child starts asking for ingredients! 🍪🦃

As we begin our 9th 😲year of homeschooling, our theme is: "Attempt great things for God. Expect great things from God." — William Carey

May your school year be filled with faith, perseverance, and a willingness to trust God in every lesson and every challenge. Here's to another year of growing and expecting great things from Him! 💙💚

One of my favorite questions to ask at the beginning of the school year is:

"If you could learn about one topic (money and time are no issue), what would you learn about?"

Their answers are always the best! 😂

At our house, we've had everything from history of weapons, sewing, coding, watercolor painting, Greek mythology, origami and black holes. I never know what answer is coming next!

Keep those answers in your back pocket. They're perfect for those afternoons when everyone needs a break from the regular routine. Head to the library, pull up a documentary, find a hands-on project, or spend an hour researching together. If you have the opportunity, turn it into a field trip—or even a trip someday! Learning becomes unforgettable when kids get to explore something they're genuinely excited about.

Some of our family's favorite homeschool memories started with one simple question. We just decided to run with their interests, and those rabbit trails often became the lessons they remembered most.

Just be warned...asking this question may result in carrying home an armful of library books on black holes, watching YouTube tutorials on watercolor techniques, pricing sewing machines, or suddenly knowing far more about Greek mythology than you ever expected. 😂

So...what topic would your kids choose? I'd love to hear their answers!
