Permanently closed.

Twenty members established Turner Baptist Church on November 15,1905. The congregation first worshiped at Turner School, where several faiths alternated Sunday services. In 1917, this Interdenmonational institution was known as Turner Union Church. Attendance continued to grow and by the Mid 1950^s the other denomanations moved to their own meeting places. Turner's Baptists remodeled their facili

ty and built a new one at the direction of Rev. In 1997 the congregration completed consstruction oo a new sanctuary. Today, Turner Baptist continues to serve as a beacon of light to residents of the Turner and other nearby communities.

The facility of Turner Baptist Church has been given to our Kaufman-Van Association. They are actively searching for a new work to use this facility.

I want to remind everyone that October is Pastor Appreciation month! If you have a great pastor let him know that you appreciate him. Send him a card, make him a pie or cake or just tell him how much you appreciate all that he does!

We have a wonderful pastor here at Turner Baptist Church that we appreciate so much! His sermons are exciting and hits home every Sunday !

Just want our church family and friends to know that we will be having Sunday school this Sunday at 9:45 a. m. We hope to see you there!

Our church family is mourning the death of our dear member Gwen Polley! She will be so missed by all of us. We will never forget her smile and her kind words to everyone. We know that she is in the arms of Jesus and we will see her again one day.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Bill and her family during this time.
