Easter is days away.. The day we celebrate a Risen Savior who lives.
At the time of Jesus death the veil was rent, torn into. At that moment, Jesus overcame the law which had held us at bay. Until then, we had to allow the priest to go into the inner space and pray. They literally had to sacrifice livestock to obtain forgiveness. But when Jesus died, when that veil was ripped.. we were immediately granted open access to the Father and the Son. You don't need the priest or the pastor to pray for you. Use your voice, pray for yourself. Speak to Him, just like you would speak to me.
That is not to say you should never speak to other people about your needs. There is power in corporate prayer. Remember that where 2 or 3 are in agreement in His Name then it is done. But do not ever think that you can't just pray for your own immediate needs. He is listening. He is always with you and He knows your own needs much better than you will ever understand.
You do not have to wait for a prayer meeting to pray.
