DEDICATION OF THE CARLO ACUTIS ROOM (OLD ROOM 104)

We are excited to announce that Room 104 has been completely remodeled and was officially rededicated as the Carlo Acutis Room on October 12, 2026 by Fr. Alex Clark.

Who was Carlo Acutis?
Known as the "millennial saint," Blessed Carlo Acutis was a tech-savvy teenager who used his computer programming skills to serve the Church. His greatest contribution was creating a global website and a portable exhibition cataloging
187 Eucharistic miracles from around the world. Carlo sought to use technology to share the reality of the Real Presence, famously stating, “The Eucharist is the highway to heaven.” Though he passed away from leukemia in 2006 at just 15 years old, his legacy remains a powerful testament to holiness in the digital age.

We invite you to visit the newly renovated room and be inspired by his mission to bring youth and technology closer to Christ.

10-16-26 Friday Update

Good morning, everyone. This is Father Alex with your Friday update. And I just want to begin by thanking you all who have completed these stewardship commitment cards already. And if you have not already completed yours, please do so and they can be placed in the collection basket this weekend at Mass, or feel free to drop them off at the parish office. You can also complete them online on our website.

This upcoming Sunday the 18th, there is Confirmation preparation at 9 AM, and there is the grief support group at 12 noon, which will be in the parish office.

On Saturday, October 24, the Knights of Columbus will be holding their annual pasta dinner from 530 to 730pm in the gym. You can make reservations this weekend in the Southwest Festival after all masses or just show up at the door you do not need to pre purchase tickets ahead of time.

First reconciliation and first communion preparation will be next Sunday at 9am. That's the 25th.

The weekend after that the weekend of October 31, and November 1, the Holy Land gifts will be in the Southwest Festival selling their beautiful religious arts from the Holy Land. And also on Sunday, November 1 is the Feast of All Saints. The playgroup children will be dressing up as their favorite saints and processing in before Mass, and the kinder choir will also be singing.
Donuts will also be served after Mass. It is a very jam packed weekend! I can't wait to celebrate All Saints Day with you.

This is the Friday update for Immaculate Conception Church Friday October 9th 2026.

There’s a lot going on! First, it is commitment weekend for Stewardship. Please review your ministry catalog and decide how you plan to deepen your prayer life and faith formation opportunities; complete you Commitment card and bring it to Mass this weekend and place it in the collection basket. You can also mail it or bring it to the parish office.

This is also hospitality weekend. We’ll have cabbage rolls and mashed potatoes on Saturday and coffee and doughnuts on Sunday. Stop in for a bite and talk and share with members of our parish family and visitors, too – you are always welcome!

The Knights of Columbus is having their annual pasta dinner, Saturday, October 24. Tickets and reservations will be available in the Southwest Vestibule after all the Masses.

Wednesday is the Senior Ministry Luncheon at noon. Come and join us for lunch -- cabbage rolls -- and fellowship. Bring a side dish or dessert to share if you’re able. Call the office to let us know if you plan to join us.

We still have 12 open seats for the bus trip to Amish country on Thursday, October 29. Stop in or call the parish office to reserve your seat.

Save the date: Sunday November 8th, the Young Dad's Ministry will have a Chili-Cook Off and football watch patty in Saint Joseph Hall.
