One of the most sobering statistics about parenting comes from Lifeway Research:

When both mom and dad attend church regularly, 72% of their children will continue in church as adults. When only dad attends, about 55% of children stay faithful. But when only mom attends, that number drops to just 15%.

Fathers—your example is not just influential, it's decisive. And it’s not just about church attendance. Scripture clearly places the spiritual leadership of the home on the shoulders of the father:

“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” – Ephesians 6:4

“These words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children…” – Deuteronomy 6:6–7

God has not called us to be passive. He has called us to lead—to disciple, to model, to instruct, and to nurture our children in the faith.

Do not duck the responsibility God has clearly placed on you. Embrace it.
