Thank you very much for your prayers and support.
We have received some updates from the district leaders regarding the situation in Rasuwa and Nuwakot. We kindly request you to continue praying urgently for the affected churches, pastors, families, believers, and communities.
Affected Churches and Believers
1. Syabrubesi Church, Rasuwa
• Pastor: Ps. Lakpa Tamang
• 3 believers are missing.
2. Punarutthan Church, Rasuwa
• Pastor: Ps. Dipak Bartal
• The church and its members have been affected.
3. Punarutthan Church, Nuwakot
• The church has been damaged.
• The pastor is missing.
4. Mailung Church, Rasuwa
• The church has been damaged.
• Pastor: Ps. Dil Bahadur Tamang
• Approximately 50 believers are missing.
5. Santi Bazar, Nuwakot
• Approximately 30 believers have died.
6. Timure Church, Rasuwa
• The pastor is reportedly the only person alive.
• Many believers have died.
7. Tukche Anugrah Church, Nuwakot
• Pastor: Ps. Dipak Yonjan
• 4 believers are missing.
8. Dakhbari Church, Rasuwa
• Pastor: Ps. Kumar Gurung
• 17 people are missing.
9. Grace Church, Nuwakot
• 3 believers are missing.
10. St. Petra Church, Nuwakot
• 4 believers are missing.
11. Naw Jyoti Baptist Church, Nuwakot
• The church has been partially damaged.
• Pastor: Ps. Tirtha Giri
Urgent Prayer Requests Please continue to pray for:
• The missing pastors, believers, and community members, that they may be
found safely.
• Those who have lost their lives and their families who are grieving.
• Pastors and church leaders serving in the affected areas.
• Rescue and relief efforts to reach those who are still stranded or in need.
• Shelter, food, water, medicine, and other essential needs for affected families.
• Strength, comfort, protection, and hope for the affected churches and
communities.
• God’s wisdom and guidance for everyone involved in the rescue and relief work.
Please share this update with your churches, prayer groups, and ministry networks, and continue to pray urgently for Rasuwa and Nuwakot.
