This past Sunday, we wrapped up our sermon series, A Better Way to Lead at Home, and reflected on what parenting is really all about—starting with our hearts first. Before we try to shape our kids’ behavior, God wants to shape us. The condition of our heart sets the culture of our home, and when we let God’s truth, not just emotions, lead us, unity and peace can grow.

We’re called to parent the heart, not just react to behavior. Discipline is love, not punishment, and it produces lasting fruit when done with grace and consistency. When we lead with integrity, unity, and trust in God, we plant seeds that help our kids learn to love Him, walk in purpose, and live with wisdom.
