A Beautiful Day of Dedication

Sunday we had the privilege of dedicating these precious little ones to the Lord. What a beautiful reminder that children are a gift from God and that raising them in His ways is one of the greatest responsibilities and blessings a parent can receive.

We prayed over each child and family, believing that God will guide, protect, and order their steps all the days of their lives.

“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD and the fruit of the womb is his reward. — Psalm 127:3

We are honored to stand alongside these families and believe God for the generation He is raising up!

We love our community at Anchor of Hope. Those inside the walls and those outside. We are thankful for opportunities to serve and spread the love of Jesus and some kindness!! A smile, a prayer and some kindness can be encouraging for someone. You never know what people are facing in life. The Lord knows how to send someone at just the right time!

Recently we have been able to spread the sweetness of Jesus at the local park, giving out to the kids some snow cones, cotton candy and hot dogs. We were also able to continue our monthly visit at the nursing home bringing the word, worship and prayer for the residents there. And we were able to join our school in welcoming back students at open house at North Washington.

In children’s ministry last week, the kids learned about “Trusting in God’s Hand” with the testimony of Peter walking on Water. Kids got to TRY IT; walking on water outside and a game where they experienced doing things on their own- in their own strength VS. trusting in God’s hand and letting Him guide and direct them.

In nursery, children learned about being followers of Jesus and a craft was done to illustrate the story.

This is discipleship. Every Bible story taught & every seed planted in a child’s heart has the potential to impact generations. While the adults are being ministered to in the sanctuary, God is moving in the hearts of our children too.

Never underestimate what God can do through a faithful Children’s Church ministry. The church of tomorrow is being shaped today. ❤️📖

What a beautiful day in the house of the Lord! Today we celebrated not only a water baptism, but a life rededicated to Jesus Christ. A life surrendered to Christ.

Jesus is still changing lives, restoring hearts, and making all things new. Heaven is rejoicing, and so are we! 🙌

Another soul making a public declaration of faith! 🙌💙

Heaven rejoices over every soul. We celebrate one more person who has been buried with Christ in baptism and raised to walk in newness of life. God is still saving, still changing lives, and still moving!

While adults and teens are worshipping in the sanctuary, another kind of Holy Work is taking place down stairs!

Children are learning about Jesus and that the Bible is true.
They are building Godly connections and friendships.
They are developing a heart of worship.
They are discovering that prayer changes things.
They are growing in faith.
They are hearing that they are deeply
loved by our Savior and Creator who knows them by name.

This isn’t babysitting. It’s disciple making!
Some of the greatest kingdom work is done in the smallest chairs, with the biggest hearts ♥️🪑🔥

Bring your kids, grandkids, cousins, nieces/nephews, and neighbors and join what the Lord is doing through our Kingdom Kid’s ministry!
