Any time God is doing something good, you can count on the enemy trying to stir up trouble.

In Acts 21, Paul had just shared a powerful report of what God had done, and right in the middle of the celebration, rumors started flying. That’s still one of the devil’s favorite tricks—using gossip, half-truths, and careless words to tear down what God is building.

Don’t let a rumor travel any farther than your ears. Guard your heart. Guard your tongue. Stay alert.

What a great day at our Barrel Race Series event on Saturday! We are so thankful for every rider, family member, volunteer, and spectator who came out and helped make the day such a success. From the fast runs to the fellowship around the arena, it was a blessing to see everyone come together.
A huge thank you to all who worked behind the scenes, helped in the arena, kept things moving, and supported our riders. We couldn’t do it without you!
We’re already looking forward to the next one on June 13th!

When Paul reported what had happened through his ministry, he didn’t take the credit. He told the elders what God had done, and their response was worship.

That’s a good reminder for all of us. Every changed life, every answered prayer, every open door, every blessing on the trail—it all belongs to the Lord.

Don’t let the glory stop with you. Pass it straight on up to God.

A good cowboy rides for more than today’s paycheck. He’s building something that will outlast him — a legacy for the next generation.
The best hands broke horses, built fences, and passed down stories so their children and grandchildren wouldn’t have to start from scratch. That kind of generational thinking is woven throughout Scripture and is exactly what God calls His people to.
This week’s Hitching Post devotional challenges us to consider what kind of spiritual legacy we’re leaving behind.

Every ranch has landmarks that tell a story — an old windmill, a worn fence post, a pile of stones that marks where something important happened. They remind us where we came from and what mattered enough to remember.
God told His people to do the same after crossing the Jordan River — twelve stones stacked as a memorial so future generations would ask, “What happened here?”
This week’s Hitching Post devotional reflects on the importance of remembering God’s faithfulness and building memorials that point the next generation back to Him.

All through Genesis, Scripture repeats a powerful phrase: “These are the generations of…” God’s work has always moved through faithful people willing to pass truth, character, and faith down to the next generation.
A cowboy understands that legacy matters. What you build, teach, and live today shapes the riders who come after you.
This week’s Hitching Post devotional explores God’s design for generational faithfulness and the lasting impact of a life surrendered to Him.

A cowboy knows that the land he rides didn’t come free. Somebody cleared it, fenced it, fought for it, and probably bled for it. Freedom always costs somebody something.
As we remember those who gave their lives for this nation, we’re reminded that the freedoms we enjoy today — to gather, worship, and speak openly — were purchased with sacrifice.
This week’s Hitching Post devotional reflects on gratitude, legacy, and the price of freedom that should never be forgotten.

Out on the range, a cowboy never forgets where the water holes are — because in dry country, remembering can mean the difference between life and death.
Moses told God’s people the same thing after their deliverance: “Remember this day…” (Exodus 13:3). The mighty works of God are the water holes of the soul — places we return to when life gets hard, dry, and weary.
This week’s Hitching Post devotional, A Generational Memorial, is a reminder that faith is meant to be remembered, shared, and passed down to the next generation.

A cowboy who has already placed his life in God’s hands rides with a different kind of courage. Not careless… fearless.

When Paul faced warnings, chains, and even the threat of death, he never backed away from the mission God gave him. His courage came from a heart already surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ.

That kind of faith still inspires today.
