🌸 **International Women’s Week Devotional** 🌸

📖 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” — Proverbs 31:30

In a world that constantly measures value by appearance, influence, or popularity, Scripture reminds us of a deeper truth: the most powerful beauty is a life that honors God.

Charm can attract attention.
Beauty may turn heads.
But reverence for the Lord transforms lives and shapes generations.

The Bible highlights women whose impact came from their devotion to God—women like Deborah, Ruth, Esther, and Mary the mother of Jesus. Their strength, wisdom, and faith continue to inspire believers thousands of years later.

During International Women’s Week, we celebrate the women whose faith anchors families, strengthens communities, and advances the Kingdom of God.

At Arise Family Worship Center, we are grateful for the women who pray, lead, serve, and walk faithfully with the Lord—even through seasons of healing and restoration. Your faith is a testimony, and your reverence for God is worthy of praise.

✨ To every woman reading this today:
Your worth is not defined by culture or comparison.
Your value is found in the God you serve.

🙏 Prayer:
Father, thank You for the women who walk in faith and reverence toward You. Strengthen them, encourage them, and remind them that their lives carry eternal impact. May their wisdom guide generations and may their faith continue to shine as a testimony of Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

đź’¬ Take a moment today to encourage a woman of faith who has impacted your life. Let her know that her devotion to God matters!

Today’s word is about restoration, not pressure.

Joy is not denial—it’s restoration. God never intended faith, worship, or community to wound you. When healing takes root, joy returns naturally.

🙏 Prayer:
God, restore joy to the places that have felt heavy.

➡️ Take this with you today:
Joy is part of your healing.

'Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and exult, because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you. '

Isaiah 60:5

Then you shall see and be radiant; your heart shall thrill and exult, because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, the wealth of the nations shall come to you.

As we close this week, remember—you’re not meant to rise alone.

God never intended for us to heal or grow in isolation. Family rises together. Community strengthens what God is restoring.

🙏 Prayer:
God, help me walk in the community You’ve prepared for me.

➡️ Take this with you today:
You don’t have to do this alone.

'And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. '

Hebrews 10:24-25

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawin

Healing isn’t just personal—it’s powerful.

You don’t have to convince people of God’s goodness. When you choose healing, honesty, and wholeness, others are drawn to the light God is working in you.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, use my life to reflect Your light.

➡️ Take this with you today:
Your healing may be someone else’s hope.

' And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. '

Isaiah 60:3

And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

God often changes our vision before He changes our circumstances.

Pain has a way of pulling our focus downward—toward loss, disappointment, and what didn’t work. God gently says, “Lift your eyes.” What you lost is not the end of the story.

🙏 Prayer:
God, help me see what You’re doing beyond what I’ve lost.

➡️ Take this with you today:
Where God is taking you matters more than what you’ve been through.

' Lift up your eyes all around, and see; they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried on the hip. '

Isaiah 60:4

Lift up your eyes all around, and see; they all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be carried on the hip.

If today feels heavy, this word is for you.

Darkness may exist, but it does not dominate. God’s glory rises higher than what you’ve been through. You are not covered by your history—you are covered by His presence.

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, rise over me today with Your peace and power.

➡️ Take this with you today:
God’s glory is greater than my past.

'For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. '

Isaiah 60:2

For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.

Today’s reminder is simple, but powerful.

Darkness doesn’t win because it’s strong—it loses when light shows up. And that light has a name: Jesus. Your past doesn’t cancel your purpose. Your wounds don’t silence your calling.

🙏 Prayer:
Jesus, shine Your light into every part of my life.

➡️ Take this with you today:
Light always outlasts darkness.

'The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. '

John 1:5

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

Good morning, family. Let’s start this week with the reminder God gave us first.

God doesn’t wait for you to be fully healed before He calls you to stand. Arise isn’t about having everything together—it’s about responding right where you are. God meets you in the middle of your process.

🙏 Prayer:
God, I choose to stand where I am, trusting You to meet me here.

➡️ Take this with you today:
You don’t have to be ready—just willing.

' Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. '

Isaiah 60:1

Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
