Tickets are available in the vestibule after Masses this weekend, as well as throughout the week at the Parish Office, School Office, Café, and Catholic Store. The drawing will take place on September 14.

St. Gregory the Great, Pope - Feast Day September 3

Our patron St. Gregory died in 604 and was sainted immediately. He is one of four key doctors of the Western Church. Among the miracles attributed to him is a Eucharistic miracle in which the woman who prepared the bread for communion laughed at the consecration, denying the transformation of the bread to the real presence of Jesus. Saint Gregory prayed for the Lord to show the congregation the truth and confirm their belief. The piece of bread transformed into a piece of flesh and then returned to bread, reforming the woman, and strengthening the faith of all.

Let us pray for the repose of the soul of Rev. Msgr. Robert Golombek. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. 🙏

Msgr. Golombek will lie in repose at St. Gregory the Great Church on Tuesday, September 8 from 9:00-10:00am where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am.
