We spent the morning meeting with our 2026 grantees to hear about what they're up to in the community. To summarize, they're creating safe spaces; offering healthy meals; growing food; nurturing hospice families; fixing broken things; and helping people flourish.

We are grateful.

Martin Luther was a Buffalo Sabres fan!

Well, that may be a bit of a stretch…BUT we came across a story about his love of animals and featured in this story is an orange cat.

Sabretooth is an orange cat!

So therefore, it’s only fair to assume that Martin Luther would’ve been a Sabres fan.

“Do not be afraid… He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” (Matthew 28:5–6)

On that first Easter morning, the stone was rolled away, the tomb was empty, the cross did not have the final word, Jesus lives! Because He lives, fear gives way to hope, sorrow turns to joy, and death is defeated.

Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
