Start 2026 with us in person or livestream on our YouTube channel Sunday 1/4 10:30 a.m. when Rev. Michelle will Bring Out The Cosmic Complaint Box -- It’s the beginning of a new year, a clean slate. Time to toss out the old to make room for the new year. Let’s bring our grievances about the cosmos to the Cosmos in this interactive service. Faith Development is Squishy Sunday this Sunday when all children and youth are invited to come directly to FD as they arrive. Once we’re settled in FD, we’ll get comfy and watch Robin Robin, a sweet and meaningful short animation film.

Soulful Conversations 9:15 am Living Room Looking for connection with others on a deeper level than Coffee Hour? Or simply needing a place to “land” if you get to church early? Coffee and tea will be available. An inspirational writing, poem, or music will focus the gathering (feel free to bring one of your own). Conversations will follow.

Sacred Singing Circle 9:30 am Emerson Room Come and sing for the joy of singing. No knowledge or music experience is needed.

They have some great gently used toys, books, and winter clothing items that would make wonderful presents for kids ages 0-14.

While they rely on everyone's generosity, please know that you are absolutely welcome to attend and "shop," whether you contributed items or not.

john Snodgrass who will talk about "Homebody"--Winter comes, and with it, the perfect excuse to stop feeling guilty about wanting to stay indoors all the time. Most humans in the modern world spend most of their time inside. How did we get to be this way?

john (lower case intentional) Snodgrass is a frequent and popular speaker at UU Amherst. An instructor in Religion at Canisius University, john is also a playwright and author of many books, the most recent being Shakespeare’s Goddess.

🚨 TODAY is the last day for the book sale! We'll be having a $5 bag sale for all leftover books from 4-6pm!

We still have some great, like-new and modern books available and a huge pile of free records.

Our mission with the sale is to combat the urge to always buy "new" when purchasing presents for our loved ones, especially during the holidays. By choosing to buy re-used, you're:

After service, the Not-Black Friday Book Sale continues with children's story hour and so many gently used books and other items for you to choose from to start your holiday shopping. Come Saturday 2-4 pm for the best selection. Join us Monday evening at 6 pm for the Bag Sale!

9:30 Sacred Singing Circle Emerson Rm ~Gather in the Emerson Room and and grab your sheet music for the day. ~Light the Chalice with a few words ~A quick check in with each person who wishes to share ~Singing 1 - 2 simple songs and discussing as needed ~A quick wrap up with reminders or announcements as needed ~Put the chairs back in place - And if you just want to listen, that's fine too.

Sat. 11/22 Slow Retreat 10-2 It’s a time to rest, breathe and simply be. Wear your comfy clothes (pajamas are welcome) and bring your favorite blanket. We’ll create cozy spaces with light structure, time for meditation, nourishing food, quiet and togetherness. It’s a chance to land gently, in community, in the midst of the chaos outside.
