The Williamsport UMC said goodbye to Ms. Susan Ivey, a remarkable lady today. She was Ms. Susan, Mama to Eric, Melissa and Stephen, N***y to her six Grandchildren. She was a traveling bookmobile librarian that helped foster the love of reading to those who didn't have access to books easily. She was a wonderful Sunday School teacher to the younger children of our church. She prepared Communion for many years and challenged the younger ladies( not so young anymore) to step up and take the place of the women who had planned and executed many a church meal flawlessly so they could take a break and for that I'm eternally grateful. I hope today's send off would have made you proud. I want the Ivey family to know that although Ms. Susan is not still amongst us, she will never be forgotten.
