Reading: Acts 4:32-37The early believers understood a radical truth: nothing they owned was truly theirs. This wasn't forced redistribution but Spirit-led generosity flowing from transformed hearts. When we grasp that everything—our homes, possessions, time, and talents—belongs to God, we hold t...

Reading: 1 John 1:5-10

Jesus invites us to walk in the light, where we are fully known. In authentic Christian community, we cannot hide behind masks or maintain carefully curated images. The light exposes our true needs, our struggles, and our sin - but it also reveals God's grace, healing, and provision. Some people prefer darkness because it allows them to hide. They want help without relationship, provision without vulnerability. But genuine transformation happens in the light. When we're honest about our needs and open about our lives, the church can truly help. When we're willing to know and be known, we experience the power of Christian community.

Pride keeps us in darkness. Humility brings us into the light where healing happens.

Are you walking in the light with your church community, or are there areas of need you're hiding due to pride or fear?

Reflection of the week:

Unqualified but Obedient

Reading: 1 Corinthians 1:26-31; Acts 2:14-21

God doesn't call the qualified; He qualifies the called. The disciples were fishermen, tax collectors, doubters—hardly the résumé you'd expect for world-changers. Yet God chose them because they were willing to obey. Peter, who once denied Jesus, stood before thousands and preached with Holy Spirit power. Your qualifications don't determine your usefulness to God—your obedience does. Stop disqualifying yourself because of past failures, lack of education, or feelings of inadequacy. God specializes in using broken people for His glory. The question isn't whether you're capable enough, but whether you're willing enough. Today, tell God you're available, even if you don't feel ready. Obedience is the doorway to experiencing His power.

Reflection of the week:

Reading: Deuteronomy 4:24; Hebrews 12:28-29

"For our God is a consuming fire."

These words may initially seem threatening, but they reveal God's passionate desire for complete relationship with us. A consuming fire doesn't leave anything untouched - it transforms everything it encounters. God isn't asking for part of your life; He desires all of it. Consider what areas you've reserved for yourself: finances, relationships, career, time. The consuming fire of God's presence isn't meant to destroy you but to purify and refine you. When we surrender completely to Him, we discover that His fire doesn't harm u - it empowers us.

Today, identify one area you've held back from God and invite His transforming presence into that space. Let Him be God over every corner of your life.

We invite you to share your answer to this week's reflection in the comments!
