The one God who creates and sustains all things is not one source among many. Every good gift comes through creation, but its deepest source is the faithful God who made us on purpose and calls us into God's good purposes. What good gift have I mistaken for the source - and how will I return thanks to God?

After church on Sunday (Sept 6th), our craft club will meet to learn and make crafts from used books for our Holiday Bazaar in November. Bring along a gently used book or two to donate. Any genre is great. Hope to see you!

This weekend we start a new series that may help ground us in the most important things if you are someone who is exploring or closely following Jesus in a way that brings transformation to our community and guides us when we feel lost. Hope to see you there. (or movie night tonight at 6 for those who want to hang out)

Special prayers today for everyone who is going back to school in Washington county. For our students, teachers, administrators, bus drivers and all of those who play a part in the investment of our kid's education.
