Saved at the age of 17, Pastor Waymon Malone, a retired Columbus City Police Officer and former special investigator with the Columbus City School System, has always been a Visionary and a Trailblazer instrumental in making a mark on ministry through his many entrepreneurial endeavors, which through the years have included: transitional housing for those in need. r, LeGlory’s Café and Restaurant, a Bible College, a food pantry, two Day Care Centers, along with a separate medical Center. But most would consider his greatest undertaking to date to be the procurement of one of Columbus, Ohio’s most popular bars and nightspots known as “Club 2 Che” and transforming it into a House of Worship know as Christ Cathedral. Sitting on the acres directly across the street from the new church was a low-income 1800 unit public housing development notoriously known as “Uzi Alley” because of its rampant drug culture, prostitution, violent gangs, frequent shootings and murders. Trusting God’s Word to be true, Bishop Malone boldly stood on the top of the roof of Christ Cathedral and declared that this community would go from being an area known as “Uzi Alley” to a “Street Called Straight” (Acts 9:11). Today, more than 20 years later, the Christ Cathedral Campus, is a 10,000 square foot, multi-million-dollar state of the art facility. Cleve Theater located in the heart of Columbus’ inner-city Linden area. His vision is to restore the venue and lift up Christ through the arts, education and Community involvement. God’s most recent mandate to him has been to establish and Pastor the Living Waters Church for All people. Pastor Malone has been overwhelmed by the love shown to him by residents of Williamsport and looks forward to working hand in hand with the community and being a Beacon of Light with those who love the Lord. No Matter what hat he may wear, his goal is always the same:
