A few weeks ago we hosted our second annual women's retreat. Thank you to our women's ministry team for all their planning and for all the ladies who participated. It was another great weekend of laughter, learning, and fellowship.

Great job to all the kids who designed and raced pinewood derby cars today! We were so glad to have everyone out!

Prizes were awarded for speed and design (design judging was performed by an unbiased 3-person panel for each age group).

Communicants' Class
Parents, a Communicants’ Class will be offered for 5th-8th graders who are interested in becoming communing members of the church. It is a 9-week class and will run from January 12 - March 9. We will be working through the book Understanding the Faith by Stephen Smallman. Books are $16.00 (scholarships available). If your student is interested, please contact Steve Tewksbury ([email protected] or text 757-880-8083) by December 29. There will be a brief parents meeting in the library after service on 1/5 to review the material and clarify expectations for the semester.

Grace Covenant's Fall Discovery Class will begin Sunday, September 15. This 6-week class meets during the Education Hour (10am) in the church library, and is designed to introduce the beliefs and ministry distinctives of our church.

A BIG thanks to everyone for coming out to our final Summer 2024 Potluck Picnic! It was a huge success and there was an abundance of delicious homemade food.
