Thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday, May 25th, for our 62nd Annual Memorial Day Celebration.

We are deeply grateful to the families, veterans, volunteers, performers, guest speakers, and members of our community who came together to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Thankfully, the rain held off long enough for us to share a beautiful and meaningful morning of remembrance together.

A special thank you goes to our incredible team and all those working behind the scenes, whose dedication and hard work helped make the event possible.

The album below captures moments throughout the day — from early-morning preparations to the conclusion of the ceremony — and reflects the spirit of remembrance and community that made the day so meaningful.

Tomorrow is Williamsburg Memorial Park’s 62nd Annual Memorial Day Celebration.

The latest forecast shows a chance of rain during the event, though thunderstorms are not currently expected until early afternoon. As always, weather conditions remain subject to change.

Our shuttle buses will drop guests off very close to the covered seating area, but we still recommend dressing appropriately and bringing an umbrella.

Rain or shine, we look forward to coming together as a community to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Please note: For everyone’s safety, the program schedule may be adjusted or shortened if severe weather develops.

🌷 Spring is almost here! 🌷

A friendly reminder that March 15th is the final day to remove Christmas decorations from gravesites. After that date, any remaining items will be respectfully disposed of. Unfortunately, we do not have the storage space to hold decorations that are not picked up. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep the cemetery looking its best for the spring season.

We have extended the time frame to have the Christmas decorations picked up until March 15, 2026. After that the grounds crew and office staff will remove and dispose of any Christmas decorations.

The ice is finally melting away. But it is leaving to the gardens with puddles of water. So if you are planning on coming to the park. Be prepared for the wet conditions. Hopefully the warmer temperatures will help dry it out soon.

WEATHER UPDATE: WATA will be ending service today, January 31st, at 6 PM.

WATA will also implement the following service changes for Sunday, February 1st:

- WATA will delay service to begin at 10 AM
- Paratransit Service will also begin at 10 AM.

We will provide an update by 9 AM if there will be limited service. For the most up-to-date information, please continue to check http://gowata.org, Transit app, and our social media accounts.
