TLR Family, mark your calendars for Sunday, August 23!

Please note: There will be NO service this Sunday.

This month is going to look a little different for us. We’re in a season of transition, and on August 23 we’re coming together as a family to worship, pray, honor, celebrate, and send out some incredible leaders who are stepping into what God has next for them.

Some are moving out of state.
Some are stepping into new ministry assignments.
Some are simply entering a new season.

And as family, we want to send them well. ❤️⛵️

📖 “As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.” Acts 13:2–3 NKJV

There will be a time of worship, prayer, laying on of hands, family time, and some very important announcements about where we are and what’s ahead.

This is more than another Sunday gathering. It’s a family moment, and we really want everyone who calls TLR home or has been active part of the community to make it a priority to be there.

There are seasons when God gathers us, seasons when He grows us, and seasons when He sends us. Healthy family knows how to celebrate every season.

Come ready to worship.
Come ready to pray.
Come ready to honor.
Come ready to send.
Come ready to hear what’s next and what God is saying.

A generation is rising that will no longer build around platforms, personalities, or polished performances but around His presence.

The highest point of many gatherings has become the sermons, and knowledge.

But Israel camped around the presence of God. In the kingdom it’s less has to do with where are you going and much more to do who is going with you.

Israel pitched their tents around His glory.
They moved when He moved.
They stayed when He stayed.
His Presence was not a moment in the gathering.
It was the reason for the gathering!

This is the cry of the generation of Jacob:

“Such is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face, O God of Jacob.” — Psalm 24:6

Not a generation seeking influence.
Not a generation seeking comfort.
A generation seeking His face.

Like Mary, we choose the costly offering over calculated efficiency.
While Judas measured the perfume by its market value, Jesus measured it by her love, devotion and reliance.
What the world called waste, Heaven called worship that will be told for eternity!

You will never regret pouring out your life at the feet of Jesus.

May we become a people who would rather host His Presence than impress a crowd.
Who would rather wait on Him than rush into another program to make sure people stay.

Who understand that one moment with the King is worth more than a thousand words about Him!

Come expectant. Come hungry. Come with heart cracked open!
