“Life is like a circle, full of ups and downs”

Life is like a circle, starting with hope, joy, and peace. ☮️ What’s the balance between good and bad in our lives today?

Think of people who see the bright side as Positive (+1) and those who see the dark side as Negative (-1).

So, can these two attitudes ever really get along?

I’d say “No,” because people usually want to be in charge instead of letting the other person take responsibility for the action that God gave them.

But there’s a middle ground where no one is better than the other. But it’s not enough for life with Jesus Christ.

Here’s an example: A circle has the same distance from point A to point B, with A being the start and B being the end.

Let’s think of life as a circle. If Jesus sends you in one direction and I’m sent in the opposite direction, could we ever come together as one? Or would we end up as zero?

Only by faith can anyone change a Negative attitude (like -1) to a Positive one (like +1). So, that attitude becomes zero.

And that zero is one of the neutral points where every individual spiritual or non-spiritual have to make a decision which way they choose to go amen.

Here’s a money analogy: Think of +1 as having one dollar and -1 as owing one dollar.

If you have one dollar and pay off your one-dollar debt, you’re left with zero dollars.

Imagine if Jesus asked you to sacrifice your life for him, just as he did for you. How would you feel about that?

So, the question is: How would you react if someone went in the opposite direction from you?

Remember, it’s a circle with a beginning and an end. Now, considering life as a circle with Christ at both the start and the end (as in “Revelation 1:8 KJV … I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty”),

In math, negative one is the additive inverse of positive one. This means adding them together always brings the total back to neutral or zero.

For instance, if you take one step forward (+1) and one step backward (-1), you end up right where you started (0).

It seems like many people are stuck in the past, holding onto their mistakes and not moving forward. But if they just have a little faith, things could change!

But to follow Christ, we need to move forward to the next step. As Jesus said in Luke 9:62 KJV, “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

So, let’s keep our eyes on the prize and look forward to seeing Jesus Christ at the end. Amen 🙏

“Divisions within the Churches”

We’ve been exploring our purpose through the Lord Jesus Christ, diving into God’s word and using it to shape our lives, seeing it as our moral compass.

This week let’s look at the church of Philadelphia. It’s problem was Philadelphia was an ancient city located in Asia Minor with Little Strength, Great Faith: Jesus noted that the congregation had "little power," yet they kept His word. In reference to “Revelation 3:8 KJV … I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name”.

Now, the Lord is showing us the divisions within the Churches, especially since we’re the human church.

Let’s look at Paul’s perspective in “1 Corinthians 3:1-2 KJV”: 1. “And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.” 2. “I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.”

Paul talks about how people were acting “carnal” versus “spiritual.” He says he couldn’t really connect with them as spiritual people because they weren’t fully led by the Holy Spirit due to a lack of faith. But “carnal” refers to things related to the physical body and its natural desires, not the spiritual.

In Paul’s view, people were acting with human jealousy, quarrels, and divisions. Does that sound familiar to what’s happening in the world today?

“Milk and not with solid food”: Paul uses a feeding analogy. Just as human babies can only digest milk, new or immature believers can only handle basic foundational truths of the Bible. However, they still have little faith.

When we consider the purpose God has given us, the Holy Spirit’s influence within us, and the power and attributes that flow from God’s power, it’s important to remember that the Holy Spirit is also one of the three persons of the Trinity, possessing all power. So, when we submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit, we’re essentially submitting to the second person, who send the Holy Spirit, and he has already paid the price for our salvation.

This submission is our opportunity to reconnect with God, worship, and praise, following the path He has set for us to live and see His Father through faith.

The Lord will judge His people. As we see in “Hebrews 10:30 KJV … For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people”.

Warns believers about the seriousness of turning away from God after knowing the truth, highlighting that God is responsible for His covenant people.

“The thin line between spiritual truths and lies”

Let’s dive into the spiritual meaning of the delicate balance between truth and falsehood, or lies. In the book of Acts, two men looked up at the sky after Jesus ascended to heaven, promising to returned in the same way. Acts 1:9-11 KJV tells us: … 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven”.

So, the two men’s: Was it genuine faithful in Jesus Christ returning, or simply a kind gesture for Mankind to see their understanding?

Those two men approached and shared information about “Acts 1:11 KJV … Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven”.

So, the questions arise: Where is your faith?

Does faith have boundaries, or do we let others shape our beliefs about it?

In Ephesians 2:8 KJV, it says: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God”.

It’s intriguing to wonder why, despite having everything they need, some people feel they still need more. However, “There’s a thin fine line between the truth and lies”.

And what if Jesus Christ withdraws his grace and mercy from you? Then and only then will people want to return. For example, the men of Galilee in Acts 1:11 KJV, it says: Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven”.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that he’s on his way soon, especially with everything happening around the world. But remember, everyone has a choice, and now they’ll need to face Jesus in the spirit, since he’s a spirit, and we should serve in the spirit and truth.

Here’s a little story:
God told Lot to lead his family away from S***m. As they left, his wife was so eager to see the city one last time that she turned into a pillar of salt. In Genesis 19:24-26 KJV, it’s described as: 24 Then the Lord rained upon S***m and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; 25 And he destroyed those cities, the plain, and everyone living there, along with everything growing on the ground. 26 But his wife turned back and became a pillar of salt.

It seems Lot’s wife might have prioritized surviving the city’s destruction over holding onto her faith in her husband’s trust in God’s grace.

However, we possess incredible power through faith in God’s Word.

As we mentioned earlier, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

We’re facing a time that will challenge our souls, but if we trust God with faith, we can overcome it. In Hebrews 11:6 KJV, it says: 6 But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”.

We need to trust the Word of God with faith to achieve our goals. And then there’s that moment when you’re praying, and the enemy tries to sneak into your prayers for Jesus.

Learn how to STOP 🛑 and ask Jesus Christ to intercede on your behalf because you haven’t fully grasped spiritual warfare, as mentioned in Romans 8:26 KJV: 26 Likewise, the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”. With the Spirit interceding on our behalf, we eliminate the area of lukewarmness. Because Jesus will spear you out of his mouth. 👄

It’s interesting to see how some people act, like drinking lukewarm water—it’s not very enjoyable for those who believe, which is why Christ spoke to the Church in Laodicea. As we know from “Revelation 3:16 KJV … So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth”. So, let’s concentrate on the unity of Christ, as he will lead us through this spiritual battle, and everyone who believes in Christ Jesus’ death on the cross will be saved through faith.

Let’s start because it’s all about your Faith. So, where is your faith?

“Stand Firm in Your Faith”

It’s common to hear people say, “Fight the good fight of faith,” but they often overlook the spiritual battles we face, like PTSD.

They might have questions, just waiting for someone to encourage or support them.

But with the faith you’ve been taught by your parents, it’s enough for Jesus Christ, as he says in “1 Timothy 6:12 KJV … Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

This means we have responsibilities and must trust, obey, and be devoted to time to God, even when facing challenges.

As humans, we’re naturally resilient spiritually, but sometimes we want to live more in the world than in the spirit. And Christ is a Spirit in reference to “John 4:23-24 KJV … 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”.

The devil had a hold on humanity in the world, but Jesus Christ left the Holy Ghost to help us understand “1 Timothy 2:5 KJV … For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

Now, the same question Jesus asked has disciples, where is your Faith in reference to “Matthew 8:26 KJV … And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.”

And just like them, we need faith to endure to the end of times. However, most people don’t want to hear about Church doctrine for more than 20-30 minutes.

So will you be able to endure to the end of time? Well I have found that Faith in Jesus Christ has been the answer to all my questions.

DID PAUL REALLY COMMAND ALL WOMEN TO KEEP SILENT IN CHURCH? THE SHOCKING TRUTH MANY HAVE NEVER BEEN TAUGHT

One of the most debated verses in Christianity is found in 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, where Paul wrote, "Let your women keep silent in the churches."

For generations, this verse has been used to stop women from preaching, teaching, praying publicly, asking questions, leading ministries, and even speaking during church services.

But is that really what Paul meant?

Did Paul suddenly decide that every woman in every church, for all generations, must never speak in the house of God?

Or have many believers misunderstood the context of what Paul was addressing?

Before answering that question, we must remember something important.

The Bible does not contradict itself.

If our interpretation of one verse creates a contradiction with several other verses, then something is wrong with our interpretation.

Now consider this.

In the very same letter to the Corinthians, Paul spoke about women praying and prophesying in public worship.

According to 1 Corinthians 11:5, Paul said, "Every woman that prayeth or prophesieth..."

Notice carefully.

Paul acknowledged that women were praying.

Paul acknowledged that women were prophesying.

Paul did not say women could never speak.

In fact, prophecy itself involves speaking.

So how could Paul permit women to pray and prophesy publicly in chapter 11, then suddenly forbid all women from speaking in chapter 14?

Something deeper is happening here.

The key is context.

When you read 1 Corinthians 14 from beginning to end, Paul was not discussing whether women could preach.

He was correcting disorder during church gatherings.

The entire chapter focuses on order.

People were speaking in tongues without interpretation.

Prophets were interrupting one another.

Members were talking out of turn.

Services were becoming chaotic.

Paul repeatedly emphasized that God is not the author of confusion but of peace.

His goal was not silence.

His goal was order.

In the same chapter, Paul told tongue speakers to keep silent under certain conditions.

He told prophets to keep silent under certain conditions.

Then he addressed certain women who were creating disruptions and told them to remain silent and ask their questions at home.

Notice something many people overlook.

Paul did not tell only women to be silent.

He also commanded tongue speakers to be silent when there was no interpreter.

He commanded prophets to be silent when another prophet received revelation.

The silence he mentioned was situational, not universal.

It was about maintaining order during worship.

Many Bible scholars believe some women in Corinth were interrupting services with questions and discussions, creating confusion during the gathering.

Remember that first-century Corinth was very different from modern churches.

Many women had limited access to formal education compared to men.

As church teachings were being explained, some may have been repeatedly interrupting meetings with questions.

Paul's instruction was aimed at preventing disorder, not establishing a permanent ban on female speech.

There is another reason this interpretation makes sense.

Throughout Scripture, God used women powerfully.

Deborah served as a judge and leader over Israel.

Huldah was a prophetess whose words were sought by kings.

Priscilla helped teach Apollos, one of the most knowledgeable preachers of his time.

Philip had four daughters who prophesied.

The first people commissioned to announce Christ's resurrection were women.

If God repeatedly used women to speak His word, then it would be strange to conclude that God suddenly prohibited women from speaking in His church.

The issue was never gender.

The issue was order.

The issue was never whether women could be used by God.

The issue was whether church gatherings were being conducted decently and in order.

Unfortunately, many believers have built entire doctrines on a single verse without examining the surrounding context.

This has created unnecessary division, confusion, arguments, and limitations that Scripture itself does not clearly establish.

That does not mean every woman is called to pastor.

It does not mean every leadership position is automatically open to everyone.

Those are separate discussions that require examining many other passages.

But one thing becomes clear when we carefully study the context.

Paul's instruction to "keep silent" was not a universal command forbidding every woman from speaking in church forever.

It was a correction aimed at disorder within a specific church situation.

The lesson for us today is bigger than the debate itself.

God values order.

God values reverence.

God values spiritual maturity.

Whether male or female, young or old, pastor or member, every believer should contribute to worship in a way that builds up the body of Christ rather than creating confusion.

The real question is not whether women should speak.

The real question is whether everything being done in church is bringing glory to God and edifying His people.

When Scripture is studied carefully, many controversies disappear.

What remains is the truth of God's Word, understood in its proper context.
