“Father’s Day, let’s give honor to our fathers”
My best friends, we might wonder, How do we show our appreciation for our fatherly qualities? (These days when it seems like no one listening) In a world where we’ve sometimes forgotten what it means to be a good father.
So, the big question is: “He’s coming back, but are we prepared for it?”
This Father’s Day, let’s celebrate both our earthly fathers and our heavenly Father.
When I was growing up, my father was my best friend, just like most young men. We could talk about anything and everything.
But when he noticed I needed help, he first encouraged me to try on my own. It was perfectly okay to admit that I gave it my best shot. And he always offered his advice. I totally trusted him with my life. It was like Jesus Christ said, “What greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13 KJV).
And this was an example of a great man who loved Jesus Christ. His last earthly words were, “Mack, don’t compromise the Word of God.”
Like anyone else, I said, “Yes, Sir.” So, we say “Happy Father’s Day” to all the fathers from “Freedom Outreach Ministries.”
However, on the other hand, the journey with getting to know the Most High Priest, as mentioned in “Hebrews 4:14-16 KJV,” is about holding fast to our profession. We have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
That’s my heavenly father, he’s Jesus Christ of Nazareth. I have learned to totally trust him with my life. Like many others who have gone before me, much like my earthly father.
But we have not an high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling, we are led by the Holy Spirit. As mentioned in “Romans 8:14 KJV,” “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”
Now we understand why our earthly father didn’t want us to lie—he had to answer to our heavenly father. As we read in “John 16:13 KJV … Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come”.
What a mighty father we have, and we should be obedient to listen to him and hear what the spirit says unto the churches Amen 🙏.
