Memorial Day decoration days are here and the cemetery is looking great. We know you all will make it look even more beautiful with flowers and decorations for your loved ones.

Trustees will be on sight 9a-5p, Thursday 5/21 through Monday 5/25. They are there to assist finding gravesites, answer any questions about the cemetery, show available plots and accept donations. Donations are tax deductible we accept cash, checks, PayPal or CashApp. Your donations help to cover the maintenance, upkeep and mowing at the cemetery.

Saturday, 5/23 we will have our annual lunch and general meeting at Noon. This is pot luck style. Tea, plates, napkins, cups & serving utensils will be provided.

Thank you to our mowing team for doing a great job on the mowing and w**d eating.

Any decorations left on the ground that you would like to save, will need to be picked up by June 8, so mowing can resume.

Thank you to B&H Trash for donating trash carts and removal during decoration days.

Did you know that in 2026 we are celebrating our 160th year of Rose Hill Cemetery and 150 years of Rose Hill Baptist Church?
Please come to the annual lunch this Saturday, May 23, at 12 pm and share memories.
If you have any old pictures feel free to bring those to let others see how we've grown and changed over the years!

Just a reminder that, as posted on our signs and in our cemetery rules, glass items are not permitted on graves. This includes bottles, vases, and any other glass decorations.

Any glass items left on graves will be removed immediately, as they pose a safety hazard when broken.

We understand and appreciate the desire to decorate your loved one’s resting place. There are many beautiful alternatives available—please choose non-glass items to help keep the cemetery safe for everyone.

Rose Hill Baptist Church will be hosting their 1st Annual Craft Fair to benefit the Kids Ministry. This will be held September 27, 2025, from 8:30 am to 4 pm.

Thank you to all who donated during the 2025 Memorial Day decoration days. This year proved to be tough trying to get gravestones decorated in between the rains and thunderstorms.

If you were unable to make your donation, during Memorial Day weekend you have a few options, to send your donation now.

You can always leave a donation in the secured donation boxes attached to the information boards. These are monitored and checked daily.

You can mail your donation to, Rose Hill Cemetery Ass’n, P. O. Box 277, Willard, MO 65781.

And now, for your convenience, you can donate through PayPal friends and family. (Choosing friends and family, avoids fees) To send your donation via PayPal, send to [email protected]

As you may, or may not know, we rely on your donations to pay for the upkeep and maintenance of the cemetery. The largest expense is the mowing and trimming.

In 2024 our expenses were a little over $10,000.
Our 2024 donations were a little over $6000.
Our 2025 donations during Memorial Day weekend were $5726.

Again we appreciate your donations and helping keep Rose Hill Cemetery beautiful.

As we come to the close of another Memorial Day, we just want to recognize more of our veterans. Do you see your veteran in here?

Please note: I don't have pictures of all the veterans stones. We have 181 veterans that we are aware of. I know I missed some so please forgive me. It was not intentional. It's difficult to remember which I've taken pics of. If you know of a veteran that is not in our records or didn't get a flag please let us know so we can make sure it is corrected. They all deserve to be honored!
I have lots of stones to clean! Some are very difficult to read)

As we commemorate Memorial Day, we pay tribute to our veterans and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedom we cherish.

Please share pictures and stories of your veterans.

Here are just a few of ours. We are honored to have 181 veterans (that we know of).
