Dear Shiloh Family,

Out of precaution, we have canceled all in-person services tomorrow. We will live-stream the morning service at 11:00 a.m. and the evening Bible study at 6:00 p.m. Our youth-led Bible study with coffee and hot chocolate will move to next Sunday night, 2/1/2026.

Lord, We thank you for a new week. We will face a lot of things this week, but you will be with us each day. We pray for guidance and protection. We pray for everyone dealing with sickness. We pray for everyone in need of comfort. Some of us are facing challenges and uncertainty. We could all live a better Christian life. We thank you for everything you will do this week. Amen

The new year has begun. Usually a time for Resolutions in 2026. Only 8% - 10% will be kept though. Wonder why? Well a resolution is a broad, firm decision or commitment to change. Often vague and lacking structure which leads to failure. However a goal is specific, actionable outcome with steps, timelines, and metrics. Goals provide a clear road map and accountability, making them more likely to be achieved. Sounds like God is in that. Also sounds like people who accomplished their resolutions last year really just set a goal. God will provide exactly what we need for each day. Lets set goals for the new year and remember God will help us each and every day. If we focus on that we will be amazed at what we can accomplish.

Dear Lord, We thank you for a new week. We pray for guidance, protection, healing for the sick, and comfort for the ones who have lost loved ones. We also pray that the true meaning of this season would not be forgotten. It's not about the hustle & bustle, lights & trees, parties & dinners, or buying & giving the right present. It's about a simple birth. The birth of a Savior. No one truly understood what was happening or what was to come. But I pray that we would remember the true meaning of that moment. We thank you for that simple birth. We thank you for the birth of a Savior. We thank you Jesus!
