Hey Guys! TWO BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS: ONE. Bowling this Friday is going to be awesome! We are meeting at the Church at 6 for Pizza and hangout time. We leave for Funfest at 7:15. Cosmic Bowling is $12 from 9:30-11:30. There is also Laser Tag and arcade games available for an extra fee but we are there to bowl!!

TWO: There are two tickets left for our Dark Knight Rises Midnight Premier outing and Lock-in from the 18th-19th. If you have already given your name to PJ or I you have a ticket. If not please contact one of us IMMEDIATELY. There is a lock-in and activities before and afterward, so bring your sleeping things to the church at 8:30!

Hi friends of Waverly Youth Group! We are looking for a volunteer substitute leader for next week (November 13th) from 5-7pm. You can either lead a lesson on your own (your choice or see PJ or Darrah for suggestions) or we will have a movie to put on for discussion the following week. Both leaders have finals and papers due the following week and would appreciate the help! One of us can study in the office during that time and be there at the beginning to get you oriented and help out as needed. Contact PJ or Darrah if you have any interest!

Hi all, please be aware that tonight's event Sleep-in for the Homeless has been modified to only go until 11pm tonight and is no longer an overnight! See you all at 5pm in the church parking lot!

The weekend of November 4-6, there is a middle school retreat being lead by the infamous "the other guy" also known as Kyle Kooyers at Crestfield. Both PJ and Darrah have worked with Kyle for 2 summers now, and consider not only Kyle to be an expert in Youth Ministry but also for this to be an incredible opportunity for those in 6-8 grades. If you are interested in attending please let Darrah or PJ know ASAP. The cost would be $75 to stay in the fantastic cabins, and there is funding available for scholarships.

Hey, everyone. Sleep-in for the Homeless is right around the corner. Friday at 6:00 pm to be precise. I think the drill will run the same as it did last year, with us meeting at the church at 5:00 and then driving to the event.

This year the event is being held in Schenley Plaza. Make sure to bring your sleeping bags and pillows, as well as blankets. There's a tab online at the above-listed website for registration. If you plan on coming, make sure you use that link! The registration pledge fee is $25. You can pay online or bring the money with you to Schenley Plaza. I look forward to seeing all of you there!

Hey guys, guess what? Youth Group is starting back up again soon, YAY! We will have a reunion day/picnic on September 4th, 2011 for all Youth groupers from last year. September 11th, 2011 will be our first youth group all together. Can't wait to see everyone!

Hey guys, just a reminder that there is no Youth Group for the next two weeks. This sunday at 5pm we will be celebrating the confirmands at the Neely's residence. Yay! Next Sunday is Easter. We will resume meetings on the 1st of May for the rest of the month! See you all then!

Hi all,

Just a reminder that there will be no Youth Group on the 19th or 26th of this month. Enjoy the time with family, friends, and celebration of Christ's birth. Meetings will resume on January 2nd of the New Year.
