From the Pastor…
In a world that often measures success by results, recognition, and visible progress, the Bible emphasizes something different — faithfulness. 1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord… your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Faithfulness is often quiet, consistent, and unnoticed.  It is doing what is right, day after day, whether or not there is visible reward.  It is continuing in obedience when emotions fade and enthusiasm diminishes.  Yet God sees what others do not.  Hebrews  6:10 “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love”…Nothing done for the Lord is overlooked.  Every act of obedience, every sacrifice, every unseen effort is known to Him.  And one day, it will be rewarded.

Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant”…That commendation is not given to the most talented, the most visible, or the most successful — it is given to the faithful.  This truth calls for diligence.  Faithfulness does not happen by accident.  It requires perseverance, discipline, and a settled commitment to continue.  After times of spiritual emphasis, many begin with strong intentions.  But the Christian life is not sustained by moments — it is sustained by consistency.

A healthy Christian is not driven by immediate results.  He is not discouraged by lack of recognition.  He continues faithfully because he knows that God sees and will reward.  Living in light of eternity means we measure success not by what is seen now, but by what will be revealed then.

Let us be Faithful

Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸
As we celebrate this Memorial Day, let us remember those who have paid the sacrifice for our freedom but also the one ultimate sacrifice 2000 years ago! Jesus willingly took the cross in our place for our sins to offer us the gift of salvation.

This week's messages, and next week's, will be in preparation for our missions conference coming up from June 3-7.

From the Pastor…
In addition to time, God has entrusted each believer with resources. How we use what we have reveals what we truly value. Living in light of eternity affects not only how we live, but how we give. Matthew 6:20-21 “But lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven… For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Every believer is investing somewhere. Some invest primarily in this world — comfort, possessions, and personal advancement. Others invest in eternity — using what they have for the cause of Christ.

Earthly investments are temporary. They may provide benefit for a time, but they will not last. Eternal investments, however, never diminish. What is given for Christ’s work, what is sacrificed for the gospel, and what is used to serve others in His name will endure forever. This is not merely about finances — it is about the heart. What we treasure determines where we invest, and where we invest reveals what we love.

This requires diligence. It is easy to give impulsively or occasionally, but faithful stewardship requires consistency and intentionality. It means evaluating our priorities and aligning them with eternal values. After seasons of spiritual renewal, there is often a willingness to give more freely. But that spirit must be maintained through disciplined stewardship.

A healthy Christian does not view what he has as his own, but as entrusted by God. He seeks to use it wisely, generously, and with eternity in view. The question is not how much we have, but how we are using what we have.

Are we laying up treasure on earth, or in heaven?
