From the Pastor…
In a world that often measures success by results, recognition, and visible progress, the Bible emphasizes something different — faithfulness. 1 Corinthians 15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord… your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
Faithfulness is often quiet, consistent, and unnoticed. It is doing what is right, day after day, whether or not there is visible reward. It is continuing in obedience when emotions fade and enthusiasm diminishes. Yet God sees what others do not. Hebrews 6:10 “For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love”…Nothing done for the Lord is overlooked. Every act of obedience, every sacrifice, every unseen effort is known to Him. And one day, it will be rewarded.
Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant”…That commendation is not given to the most talented, the most visible, or the most successful — it is given to the faithful. This truth calls for diligence. Faithfulness does not happen by accident. It requires perseverance, discipline, and a settled commitment to continue. After times of spiritual emphasis, many begin with strong intentions. But the Christian life is not sustained by moments — it is sustained by consistency.
A healthy Christian is not driven by immediate results. He is not discouraged by lack of recognition. He continues faithfully because he knows that God sees and will reward. Living in light of eternity means we measure success not by what is seen now, but by what will be revealed then.
Let us be Faithful
