East Heights UMC Youth Reaching up, Reaching in, Reaching out. Sharing the good news of Christ from the heart of beautiful College Hill, Wichita, Kan.

Grounded in the love of God, our focus is to embrace youth as they begin Middle School and walk alongside as we journey together in faith. This calling encompasses many aspects of ministry as we Reach Up and know God, Reach In and grow in faith, Reach Out and transform the world around us. Join us as we EXPERIENCE God through our relationship with Christ, SEEK to LIVE every aspect of our life for Him, and IMPACT the world for Christ.

Our youth are focusing on Gratitude this month. Each day has a question to help us see the goodness of God in our lives. With our answers, we are encouraged to start a daily gratitude journal, share them with our family or a friend, post a photo on social media, or just talk with God and thank him for all of the blessings in our life.

Haven't posted on here in a long time...but, we just finished our series on GRATITUDE and these were some of the things the youth wrote down that they were thankful for. It fits nicely with the 1st week of Advent's theme of HOPE.

Our Sale of the Century (huge garage sale) was a success! Thank you to all who donated, helped throughout the sale and to those who shopped. All of the proceeds benefit our Youth Mission Trips this Summer.
