I love Cocobolo, and bought a beautiful plank in this gorgeous color while in Houston recently. Problem was once turned the color greatly diminished, so I threw the blank back on the workbench for a few days. There is probably a scientific reason for the color coming back, but I prefer to believe Cocobolo has magical properties! (I posted these pics from my phone earlier but apparently they didn't upload...sorry about the repeat!)
