You may have seen this in Ref Life, but just in case you haven’t here is the letter about the upcoming two day event next week at Reformation on August 24th and 25th. Please RSVP through the office.

As our Health and Wellness Advocate, Cypress Brannon has seen the challenges families face during medical emergencies. To help our church community prepare, Cy is offering appointments on August 24 and 25 to discuss important healthcare planning topics.

Appointments can include completing the “What Matters Most to Me” workbook, reviewing advance care planning documents, discussing Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care, Living Wills, HIPAA authorizations, organ donation, DNR orders, and other ways to communicate your wishes.

These conversations may feel difficult, but being prepared helps ensure your values and preferences are known when they matter most. Please RSVP through the church office to schedule a time. Appointments are available from 9 a.m.–2 p.m. and may last up to 90 minutes. If needed, other times can be arranged.

Church walk at Great Plains Nature Center is meeting tomorrow at 8am! Cypress will be standing at the front waiting for folks.

It’s that time again! We’re gathering together on Monday, August 17th at noon to have our bimonthly Best-Times-Of-Life potluck and presentation! If you’re interested, please sign up in the Narthex of the church so we can get a head count. We’re excited to see what dishes you all bring! Rich’s fruit salad was SUCH a delight last time!

School season is already coming up!? Let’s gather together for our annual Youth Sunday to do a blessing of the backpacks. We will pray over our youth for a successful, memorable, and joyous school year! We meet at 9:30 am on the 16th of August for this special service. We hope to see you there!

You asked for it, we’re doing it! Consider joining us August 25th at 7pm for chair yoga. We’ll work on core strength and learn new stretches for developing balance.
