JUSTICE TOGETHER NEWS!!!!!!!!
On Tuesday, December 2nd the Wichita City Council will vote to present a 1% sales tax to residents and what that tax will be used for. JT is asking that $10 million of that be used for the Affordable Housing Fund. I am going to be at that meeting to show my support and am asking for you all to join me at City Hall in Wichita on Tuesday December the 2nd in front of City Council Chambers . We will have a prayer vigil at 8:30 and then go into the meeting. Please let me know if will be attending. I, Justice Together and those struggling to afford housing will appreciate your support!! Thank you!!!

Justice Together is a group of over 35 faith based organizations who have come together to find solutions for social justice issues in Sedgwick County. Our Current issues are homelessness and mental health. On May 9th is our huge Nehemiah Action when we will present our solutions to the Mayor, city manager, county commissioners and others. This is an ongoing group that will continue to work for social justice issues. If you are interested in joining please let me know!!! If you just want to attend a meeting to see what it’s like that’s ok too.
