I received a private message the other day where a person asked, “Do you really adopt chickens?”
The answer: We adopt many! 🐣🐥
Chickens = EGGS
EGGS = sustenance
Sustenance = FOOD for many!
Food for many = Future
Future = greater hope

A $4.99 chicken at Sams. Five dollars can buy a Hen that provides eggs for many, daily.

Humans, in many countries all over the globe, live in places where few animals would live.
When will we reach beyond our borders?
When will we feed, clothe, support something more than our own wants and desires? I ask myself this on a daily basis, as I live so comfortable! But daily I am constrained.

Coop #2 (in process) is located in Proteccion, Honduras (Protection).
Coop number 3 which will House many hens, is laying down the groundwork, from a much thought out plan. (Pics will follow in January) Daily i am in communication with the young Pastor who is “lead contractor” for this project. Eli Martinez we are all standing back to watch what will happen because of this God given-God inspired-God provided project, for the precious people of PROTECCION!

Did you know?
I ate 2 EGGS today. So what, right? I also heard that Wal-Mart had a dozen eggs for .44 cents! I read on the internet that many Chicken "pens" (Farms/plants) are becoming cage free facilities in the USA. Not only because study has found that it's less stressful for the chicken, but it has become more demanding from the retailers who in turn buy from the particular places where WE shop. (Never mind that most farms are housing millions of chickens all over the USA who supply these zillions of EGGS.) Daily, I'm thankful!
Some farms are recycling plastic bottles in order to construct clear covers over a dozen eggs. This allows consumers to see the pretty eggs, but also keeps the customers from opening the carton.
These are some facts HERE in the USA.
But Adoptachickenbuildacoop.org knows a completely different story for many in Honduras.
I am striving to change our story into a more progressive one. All in gOOd time.
