Some things break our hearts for a reason.

Nehemiah’s story begins with broken walls, hurting people, and a burden he couldn’t ignore. But before he ever started rebuilding, he stopped and prayed.

This Sunday, we’re beginning a new series through Nehemiah: Ruins to Renewal — looking at what God can do when we allow Him to work in the broken places.

We’d love for you to join us as we begin the story. ❤️

Not every testimony looks like Paul on the road to Damascus — and that's okay. 💛 If your story is 'I just grew up around it and one day it clicked,' that's still God at work. Stop comparing your journey and start owning it. The Author of the universe wrote it.

What if the hardest part of your journey is exactly what someone needs to hear right now? Your courage to share your real story—your struggles, your healing, your faith—might be the spark that ignites someone else's relationship with Jesus. Your story matters.

Crown or apron? That's the question for this week. Will you expect others to serve you, or will you be ready to serve them? Our King chose the apron, kneeling to wash feet, even Judas's feet, because of love. And that same love has been lavished upon us. What will you choose?

When Jesus sat down to eat with someone, He was making a public statement: 'You matter. You belong.' The religious leaders were scandalized—how could the Messiah eat with sinners and tax collectors? But Jesus kept pulling up chairs, blessing people everyone else had avoided. He wasn't just feeding bodies; He was calling souls into the kingdom. What would change if we invited like Jesus did?

Your next invitation might not be to church—it might be to your dinner table. Jesus changed lives over meals. You have 21 of them every week. Who needs to sit at your table? Let's reclaim the power of shared meals in reaching those around us.

Preparing to explain how we survived preaching through the Book of Revelation without watering it down for anyone’s comfort. 😅📖
No sugar-coating. No playing to the crowd. Just the unfiltered, raw truth of Scripture.

If you’re going to keep checking your phone to see if they texted you back, you might as well look at some Scripture while you wait. 😉📱
We took the memory verses from the bottom of this morning’s sermon handouts and made them into wallpapers for the week.

If God never confronts injustice, oppression gets the final word. But He does, and that changes everything. Judgment isn’t the villain of the story. For millions of suffering people, it’s the promise that evil won’t win.

Freedom moves us toward people, not away from them. ❤️🤍💙
This Independence Day, let’s challenge ourselves to look past the fireworks and see the people right in front of us as the ultimate opportunity to live out our faith.

How to change your view this week:
• The barista isn’t just a transaction; they’re an opportunity for kindness.
• The neighbor isn’t just a nearby house; they’re an opportunity for community.
• The critic isn’t just an opponent; they’re an opportunity for grace.
