This Sunday (4/12) we kick off a new series called Sacred Scars: Remembering Our Resurrections. For the season after Easter, we're hearing stories from scripture and from our members about shifts that led to new life even if they were painful at the time. Just as the risen body of Jesus still has scars, we can look back at our lives (and sometimes even our own bodies) to see how far God has brought us.

Join us Sundays in-person or online at 10am. All are welcome to share in the story of love!

Join us all summer long for Free Family Movie Nights! Starting on June 11, every Wednesday at 6:00 we'll be showing a movie in our air conditioned gym and everyone from the community is welcome. Free popcorn and drinks are provided. For our first film, we're heading under the sea with The Little Mermaid (1989). See the flier for the rest of the schedule.

Every week, each person will be entered in a gift basket raffle, and you can earn an additional entry by bringing a non-perishable food item that will go to food pantries in the community!

We'll have a dramatic reading of the Easter story, a message called "Wondering in Wonder," and a special Flowering of the Cross ceremony. After worship, we'll have an easter egg hunt for kids, coffee time for adults, and a photobooth for family pictures. He is risen on high, let's celebrate!

We're starting two new studies for the Lenten season leading to Jesus's death on Good Friday.

This Sunday begins a new sermon series called "The Transformation of the Cross." For the weeks leading up to Easter, we'll reflect on Jesus's death, and how his instruction to carry our cross transforms how we see ourselves and our calling of self-giving love. Ministers Gary Richardson and Chris Perrey will kickoff the series together with a conversation about the life that comes from death. Join us at 10:00, and stick around this week for a potluck meal.

On Wednesday nights, we're going through the book The Dark Night of the Soul by Gerald May. Minister Chris Perrey will help us understand how times of darkness and spiritual dryness can actually lead to growth using the perspective of modern psychology and contemplative wisdom from the saints John of the Cross and Teresa of Avila. The study begins at 6:45 and there's also a free meal at 6:00. In addition, the Make Good group meets every Wednesday for community crafting and childcare is provided during adult activities.

We are very excited to host the See the Need, Meet the Need mutual aid conference and fair organized by our own Olivia Vest. It's aimed at combating the collective freeze that comes with this undercurrent of fear, panic, and uncertainty. By connecting attendees with existing direct service, legislative action, and mutual aid initiatives, this project hopes to disrupt fear and instead empower community members to understand, organize, mobilize, and act by getting involved with the work.

The conference will feature a Solidarity Fair (think: "career fair," but tabled by organizers, organizations, and mutual aid projects) and breakout sessions with practical experts in the fields of community organizing, collective bargaining, mutual aid, and legislative action. Join us this Saturday, Mar. 8 from 1:00-6:00PM for this exciting and informative event.

This Sunday starts a new sermon series called “Crescendo: God’s Theme Song by Jesus.” We’ve heard the repeated theme across the Old Testament of God’s mercy, faithfulness, and love. And Jesus sings this song even louder! Hear how Christ amplifies the message of mercy over sacrifice and grace over punishment in his teachings and life.

Join us Sundays at 10am in-person or online. All are welcome to sing the song of love!

The God who is Love was not unrevealed before Christ came. In fact, God repeatedly tells us about the foundational aspects of the divine character: The LORD is merciful, gracious, patient, loving, and faithful. For the next three weeks, our Sunday messages will trace "God's Theme Song" through the Hebrew Bible as we see how different situations and contexts required reminders of who God always is.

Join us Sundays at 10am in-person or online!
