It’s not lost on us what a privilege it is to raise children. It is a high honor and a holy responsibility.

Parenting was never meant to be done apart from our Heavenly Father, who lovingly shepherds and guides us, nor apart from community.

Today, we stood with families as they dedicated their sweet babies and children to the Lord. Our prayer is that each child would grow to know Jesus, walk in the purpose God has for their life, and carry His love, hope, and light into the world.

What a beautiful gift it is to help raise the next generation to know Him!

God loves you more than you could ever imagine or fully comprehend.Let’s live from the overflow of that love this week ❤...

Some seasons feel confusing because all we can see is what’s right in front of us.

But God sees further.

Maybe the brook dried up.
Maybe things shifted.
Maybe what once felt comfortable suddenly doesn’t.

That doesn’t mean God left.
And it doesn’t mean the story is over.

Pastor Jerry reminded us that sometimes God is preparing us for what He has prepared for us and faith means trusting Him enough to keep moving.

You can’t stay here!

Ask God what your next step is and take it in Faith.

What a gift this weekend was ❤️

We are SO incredibly grateful for Pastor Jerry + Leslie Lawson visiting us from Daystar Church in Alabama. Faithful leaders, trusted voices, dear friends of the house, and people who have poured into our pastors and into City Hope for many years.

Pastor Jerry brought a timely word that challenged us, encouraged us, and reminded us to keep trusting God even in seasons we don’t fully understand.

“The brook didn’t dry up because God failed. God was finished there.”

Thank you for loving, leading, and continually pointing people toward Jesus. We honor and love you both.
