Tonight is First Responder night at Life Church! We’ll meet at the main campus and then go out to support our local first responders. This is a great way to help our kids understand the importance of having people willing to serve as first responders in our community and provide an opportunity to interact in a meaningful way. We are so thankful for our community and can’t wait to see everyone at 7!

What a great time we had in Life Kids on Wednesday! Our Big Idea was “Gods message goes everywhere”. In older Life Kids, we had “messenger training” with a package relay race and writing “encourage-mail” to each other. The kids wrote their name on a paper and had 5 minutes to write andencouraging word on each of their friends papers. We went over examples of compliment words and gave suggestions. In the Little Life Kids, Sis Heather F. delivered an important package with the big idea and special messages that said “Jesus loves you”. Bro Pat explained the cards had the message that Jesus wants to share with the world and after praying over the cards, gave each child a stack to pass out to people and fulfill their job as Jesus’ messengers this week!

It was a great morning at Life Church today! Lily was filled with the Holy Ghost and Oliver made the choice to be baptized in Jesus name. Tayla was filled with the Holy Ghost a few weeks ago so she, Lily and Oliver were able to fill out their tickets to Heaven and we couldn’t be more proud!

What an amazing Pentecost Sunday we had yesterday! We saw two of oyrkids receive the Holy Ghost for the very first time and be baptized in the name of Jesus. This year we have had a combined total of 8 baptisms and 6 children receive the Holy Ghost and are so proud of their hunger for God.

What an incredibly fun time we had at our Bible Buddy Adoption! Kids each adopted their own Bible Buddy stuffed pet, received an official adoption certificate and a 21 day booklet to complete with their Bible Buddy. They were also able to customize their pets crate and collar. We want to thank our older Life Students (12-18 yrs) who helped us tremendously in running the event. Some were small group leaders, others gave directions during activities but all gave their best and we are very thankful. Looking forward to to the many things Life Kids will learn through the month of June!

Look who completely filled out their ticket to Heaven! Moriah is the 3rd Life Kid to complete their ticket. Since starting our “Ticket to Heaven” series in the month of January, we have had seen so much growth in Life Kids including;

- 6️⃣ see their need to be baptized in Jesus name

- 4️⃣ filled with the Holy Spirit

Also unable to be quantified but important to be mentioned are the individual growth our children have demonstrated including:

- praying for friends at the altar without being prompted

- asking thoughtful questions and interacting during group time

- talking about Jesus with family

- choosing to be kind to friends and respectful when others are sharing during group time

We love and are so proud of these kids!
