Narrow Path Cowboy Fellowship

Narrow Path Cowboy Fellowship A place of fellowship and worship, where you can come just as you are. No building, No walls. Just a group of everyday people drawing closer to Jesus.

Though our appearance embraces a cowboy / western culture, our vision is to reach all people with the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ. We will strive to provide a place where everyday folks and their families can come, fellowship, and deepen their walk with Christ.

Such a testimony to what God can do with a faithful few!

This was only 5 years ago...PTl for His Blessings and yall that have worked so many hours and still are with us Sharing Gods word with so many.

From our humble beginnings one thing that has not changed is our placing God 1st in all things.

Today God has provided two barns an open air arena, and soon a covered arena. 30 plus acres of pasture and cattle. But none of this would have happened without those who said "Yes Lord send me." And.....188 baptisms plus 3 more otw...

So...thankful for those at LMCC who have worked to touch so many and we see the results of your efforts in the souls saved and the lives that God has changed...because of the ones who said...yes....

God Blesses especially when you get out of your chair...

Something that’s been on my mind…

Negativity and doubt are in stark contrast to thankfulness and faith. Both can hinder our personal lives, vocations, and relationships.

But it also hinders our worship.

Romans 12:2 says “Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

By changing the way we “think”.

How many times have we allowed doubt and even fear to control our actions or reactions?

How many times have we allowed negativity to hinder our ability to worship, serve, or minister?

A while back we had gone up to Gatlinburg and decided to walk across the sky bridge. It was beautiful. You ride a chair lift up to the top of the mountain, to a nearly 700ft free span bridge between two mountain landings, and is suspended nearly 500ft in the air. The views were amazing. The bridge itself was amazing. But right in the middle of the bridge there’s 30 feet of glass, and it’s almost as if you’re walking out onto nothing. It bounces and sways as folks make their way across. But for some, after trusting the structure for over 300 feet, they just couldn’t bring themselves to cross the glass. Though it’s completely solid, the mind says I can’t. We saw a few in tears. Some grown men that said no way. Some turned back and never made it to their desired destination because of negativity, doubts, and fear.

Colossians 3:2 says
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”

I heard many trying to coax their loved ones, saying just don’t look down.. Focus on me… Your going to be alright…

Friends we have to keep our focus on the Lord, and on His goodness, faithfulness, and love. He is our provider, protector, the giver and sustainer of this life, and the author and perfector of our faith. We’re going to be alright.

Romans 8:28 teaches us “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

When we allow the negative to become the voice that guides us away from worship, we have allowed those thoughts to take Lordship.

Romans 10:4
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Let us bring our doubts, fears, and negative thoughts to the foot of the cross and into captivity in Christ.

There was many people who never made it across that bridge.

Choose today to trust in His promises. Walk in His light. Worship when no one else will.

Choose today to lift your hands in praise.
Praise Him through the pain. Praise Him through the storm.
Praise Him from the mountain tops or in the valley.

Let our praise drown out the negativity in us and around us.
Live in thankfulness.

The Lord has never failed us.

Psalms 92:1-2

1 It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
to sing praises to the Most High.
2 It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning,
your faithfulness in the evening,

Praise Him this morning as you start your day.!
