Last night we were a little down in numbers but that didn’t stop us from learning and having fun!

We went over Hebrews 11: the FAITH chapter. It goes over many different examples of faith in the Old Testament and explains why faith is important. I encourage everyone to read it!

We also had a teen from the ACE class to shadow our HUBB classes because he has an interest in teaching. Isn’t that a blessing to have youth that are willing to teach the littles about God?!

Tonight the kiddos learned about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace (Daniel 3)!

At the end of HUBB each Wednesday I like to ask the kids if any of them want to talk about what they learned that night. Tonight I asked and nearly every hand shot up! The amount of detail these little minds remembered was amazing.

Tonight our lesson was over Daniel chapter 1! We talked about how Daniel and his friends stayed true to their beliefs and obeyed God even against the king’s orders (and were rewarded for it).

Text Truth: We should always obey God.
Bible Passage: Daniel 1:1-20

Our older kids (3rd-6th graders) Bible Skill was to use the Table of Contents to find the book of Daniel

I’ve attached their Explorer Guides below so you can have the opportunity to do some review with your kiddos!

NEW YEARS EVE

We will have HUBB as usual with some New Years fun during games 😋

The ACE youth group will start their New Year’s party immediately after we dismiss. It will last until midnight then the bus will run by 12:30 for those who need a ride.
Everyone 13+ can stay for the party but children 12&under will need an adult present.

Our little thanksgiving dinner is tonight at 6! Reminder that all you parents/guardians are welcome to join your kiddos, but if you can’t make it we will be running our buses so they can still come.

We are going to have a little thanksgiving dinner for our Kiddos and their parents/guardians this Wednesday at 6pm! Just to show a little thankfulness to you who allow your children to come learn about God with us. Come eat!
