Last Sunday, we celebrated the greatest victory in history—Jesus Christ conquering sin and death through His resurrection.
The cross, once an instrument of death, became a picture of life, hope, and redemption. Throughout the service, our congregation had the opportunity to place flowers on the cross, symbolizing how the sins, burdens, and brokenness that Jesus carried for us had been transformed by His love and sacrifice. What once represented death was covered in beauty and life.
Thank you to everyone who helped make Resurrection Sunday so special—from our worship team, volunteers, Kid’s Ministry, AV team, decorators, and every person who came ready to worship. Your servant hearts helped create a meaningful reminder of the hope we have because of the empty tomb.
Because He lives, we have forgiveness, new life, and the promise that death does not have the final word.
“Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen.” – Luke 24:5–6
El domingo pasado celebramos la victoria más grande de la historia: Jesucristo venciendo el pecado y la muerte por medio de Su resurrección.
La cruz, que una vez fue un instrumento de muerte, se convirtió en una imagen de vida, esperanza y redención. Durante el servicio, nuestra congregación tuvo la oportunidad de colocar flores en la cruz, simbolizando cómo los pecados, las cargas y el quebranto que Jesús llevó por nosotros fueron transformados por Su amor y sacrificio. Lo que antes representaba muerte quedó cubierto de belleza y vida.
Gracias a todos los que ayudaron a hacer tan especial este Domingo de Resurrección: nuestro equipo de alabanza, voluntarios, Ministerio de Niños, equipo de Audio y Visual, decoradores y cada persona que llegó lista para adorar. Sus corazones de servicio ayudaron a crear un recordatorio significativo de la esperanza que tenemos por causa de la tumba vacía.
Porque Él vive, tenemos perdón, nueva vida y la promesa de que la muerte no tiene la última palabra.
“¿Por qué buscan entre los mu***os al que vive? No está aquí, sino que ha resucitado.” – Lucas 24:5–6
