We wear no name but that of Christians. Yet we do not claim to have attained everything this name represents. We are a free, independent, self-governing congregation under Christ alone as Head, with no denominational affiliation or earthly headquarters, though we recognize a particular closeness to other churches of Christ and Christian Churches who share a common restoration heritage. Locally we

support seminars and lectureships at both Pepperdine University and Hope International University in Southern California. We also cooperate with groups outside of our fellowship to honor God and to meet needs within our community.

PLEASE PRAY FOR PASTOR MIKE TODAY

This carousel shares the timeline of Pastor Mike’s health journey over the past week. On August 5th, he was admitted to the hospital after doctors discovered a blood clot. He was transferred to UC Irvine, where the medical team prepared for major heart surgery. Today, August 13th, Pastor Mike is undergoing heart surgery at UC Irvine.

Surgery prep begins at 7:00 AM with the procedure starting around 9:00 AM and expected to last 4-6 hours. Today, CrossPoint gathered online to pray for Pastor Mike as a united family, lifting him and his loved ones to the throne of grace during this crucial time.

Please continue to join us in fervent prayer for wisdom, steady hands, and complete healing. Trust in the Lord with all your heart—He is in control and He is a good Father.

Day 5 Recap: Jesus is God’s Plan for Forgiveness 🌟

Yesterday at Illumination Station, we brought VBS to an incredible close! Our kids learned the most important message of the week—that Jesus is God’s plan for forgiveness. Peter’s powerful testimony showed us that recognizing Jesus as our Savior and responding to His love is what it all comes down to. And what better way to celebrate than with a glow-in-the-dark party?! Our kids lit up the night just as Christ’s light shines in our hearts. Thank you to every volunteer who poured into these children all week long. You’ve made an eternal impact! 💡✨

Ayer en Illumination Station, ¡cerramos VBS de manera increíble! Nuestros niños aprendieron el mensaje más importante de la semana—que Jesús es el plan de Dios para el perdón. Day 4 Recap: Jesus is the Proven Son of God 🔥

Today at Illumination Station, our kids encountered the most powerful truth of all—Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection! While Jesus healed the sick, fed the hungry, and worked incredible miracles, the ultimate proof that He is who He claimed to be came through the resurrection. He conquered death so that we could experience eternal life. This is the good news that changes everything. Thank you to our volunteers for boldly sharing this life-changing message! 💛

Hoy en Illumination Station, nuestros niños encontraron la verdad más poderosa de todas—¡la muerte, sepultura y resurrección de Jesús! Aunque Jesús sanó a los enfermos, alimentó a los hambrientos e hizo milagros increíbles, la prueba definitiva de que es quien dijo ser vino a través de la resurrección. Él conquistó la muerte para que pudiéramos experimentar la vida eterna. Day 3 Recap: Jesus is the Powerful Son of God 🙌

Today at Illumination Station, our kids witnessed the incredible power of Jesus through His miracles! From healing the sick to feeding over 4,000 people with just 7 loaves and a few fish, we saw that nothing is impossible with God. Jesus doesn’t just teach us about faith—He demonstrates it. What an amazing reminder that the One we serve has power beyond our wildest imagination. Our volunteers are absolutely shining bright! ✨

Hoy en Illumination Station, nuestros niños fueron testigos del poder increíble de Jesús a través de Sus milagros. Desde sanar a los enfermos hasta alimentar a más de 4,000 personas con solo 7 panes y unos pocos peces, vimos que nada es imposible con Dios. Day 2 Recap: Jesus is God’s Perfect Son✨

Today at Illumination Station, our kids learned about Jesus’ baptism—a moment when heaven opened up and God’s voice declared His beloved Son. Even though Jesus was perfect and didn’t need baptism for forgiveness, He showed us what obedience and submission look like. What an incredible reminder that we follow a Savior who is sinless, humble, and perfectly faithful. Thank you to our amazing volunteers for shining God’s light into the hearts of every child! 💛

Hoy en Illumination Station, nuestros niños aprendieron sobre el bautismo de Jesús—un momento cuando el cielo se abrió y la voz de Dios declaró a Su Hijo amado.
