We need to be women of the Word! Faith comes by reading the Word of God. You may have an experience—you may be giving worship and devotion and adoration to the Lord—but your faith isn’t growing because it grows when we are in the Word of God.

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭17‬ ‭

Tribulation works patience. Patience is experience. Experience hope. Hope makes not a shame, for the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who is given.

Trials have a way of kind of singling you out and making you feel alone, like you’re going through it all by yourself.

Paul says not only are all the trials common to man, there’s nothing new out there. He also knew you will never go through a trial that God isn’t there to get you through it.

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
1 Corinthians 10:13
