Mary was so filled with grace and so completely surrendered to God’s will that, at the end of her earthly life, Jesus brought His Mother—body and soul—into the glory of heaven.

Proclaimed as dogma by Pope Pius XII in 1950, in the aftermath of two devastating world wars, the Assumption reminds a wounded world of the sacred dignity and eternal destiny of the human body. What God has done for Mary reveals what He desires for us: not destruction, but resurrection; not death, but life with Him forever.

May Our Lady of the Assumption teach us to say “yes” to God as she did. 💙✨

Happy Father’s Day! | ¡Feliz Día del Padre!

Today we thank God for all fathers who reflect His love through their sacrifice, guidance, and faithful care for their families. We also give thanks for our spiritual fathers, our priests, who dedicate their lives to shepherding God’s people, celebrating the sacraments, and proclaiming the Gospel. May the Lord bless all fathers—living and deceased—with His peace, strength, and abundant grace.

Why do we celebrate Corpus Christi?

The Solemnity of Corpus Christi is a celebration of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. At every Mass, under the appearances of bread and wine, Christ gives us His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. This gift of Himself strengthens us, unites us as His Church, and draws us into deeper communion with God and one another.

As Catholics, we do not merely remember the Last Supper—we encounter the same Jesus who said: “This is my body, which will be given up for you” (Luke 22:19). Corpus Christi invites us to renew our love for the Eucharist and to recognize Christ present among us, both at the altar and in our daily lives.

“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever.” (John 6:51)

(Jn 6,51)
