Chapel of Light (Whitney, Texas) The Meditation Chapel is open 7 days a week for all to come and meditate. The Dream...a place where the still small voice has a chance to be heard.

In 1970, one lakeside resident dreamed of a small, round Chapel nestled in the trees with a lake for view. A Chapel where people could experience their own spiritual quest in quietness. A handful of people joined together on the shores of Lake Whitney to give their talent, time and money to manifest this dream into reality...an architect to design it, a builder, a lawyer to incorporate it, an art

ist to portray it, a ditch digger, an electrician. Many people contributed both initial and sustaining dollars.
